I typically don't write such overly completely satisfied awesome product reviews so early but this piece of simple yet extraordinary equipment has surpassed all so called manufactured wonderfully amazing devices hands down, no holds barred. As you see in the photos the incredibly weird ways this flexible tripod holds and can be propped and manipulated to hold your video capturing equipment.I was on my way out of country for a property photo documenting capturing footage and I didn't have room for allot of my typical bulky equipment but something that's easy to use and perfect in every way. When I initially saw this on a YouTube review and I guess you've heard that saying, "If it's too good to be true then it simply is". Well this one has broken all the standards, pull all the plugs on ease, simplicity, light weight equipment, great value and about 100 other things.You will not be dissatisfied with this unless this is not what you were seeking this particular piece of equipment. The floating ball mount is a awesome addition that in itself is worth the price alone. So combined you get this incredible tripod, delivered as it is as exactly promised, delivered ontime, its cost more then worthy of all delivered and the ease and flexibility surpassed by no one on this one.I guess you see this is one satisfied customer. I don’t know what took me so long to get a tripod! This gorilla 1K is the best! Very sturdy, excellent packaging, easy to set up and get going. I purchased a phone clip to go with it which is required. I got the ULANZI ST – 27 Iron Man IV phone clip and it works perfectly with this tripod - super easy. Can’t wait to get outside and use it.

This thing is awesome and super useful. I pair it with a K&F Concept Quick Release Plate and Ultralight Arca Swiss Clamp for my backpacking trips. It's pretty much as lightweight as you can go for a DSLR. My only complaint is the swivel mechanism, it easily unscrews from the tripod. You kinda have to squeeze it and tighten it first before being able to swivel properly.

One of the best "pandemic" purchase I made. Used as stand for Iphone and Ipad for video calls. Very solid, very durable. Best of the bunch. I subtracted one star as the top "ball" joint are weakening over time. Won't hold at a 45degree angle anymore. But it was great for a year of almost daily use. So still 4x. I am happy enough that I am buying a replacement.

First saw this in a NY Times (Wirecutter) review; they raved about it. Got one for myself and I can see why. Excellent product. It's on the smaller side and easy to carry around (fits nicely in a backpack), but super durable and extremely handy. The flexible legs are amazing. Truly innovative.

This tripod was exactly what I was looking for. It is not flimsy and can be attached to railings or any weirdly shaped object. It did hold the weight of both my Canon m50 with a 55-200 mm lens and my fuji xt30ii with a 55-200mm lens. Have never had problems, and it is easy to package and bring along to trips. Overall a good purchase.

I returned the much larger, heaver, stiffer GorillaPod Focus, which can handle up to 11 lbs or so, and traded it for this 1K model. I wanted something lighter and smaller to take when I travel, and to use for certain macro focus photos I like to take. The Focus was just too large and heavy for my needs. This was a much better size and it works well to support 2 of my 3 cameras. (My third camera is a regular camera and lens, and just too heavy for this pod at 2.5 lbs). This one is nicely made, the little ball head seems well made and works perfectly for what I want it for. I almost ordered the 3K GorillaPod, but I think it would have been larger than I need. Which GorillaPod you choose is really all a matter of your intended purpose, and I wanted to go as small/light as I could yet have the solid ball head support for my 2 main cameras in any position. Seems a bit pricey, but my older tiny, basic GP has held up just fine over several years (it could only support my smallest camera).

The media could not be loaded. I use this with my camera setup as shown in the video and only a few months after getting it, it would no longer hold certain positions. You can tell in the video that it falls over. It has gotten worse with time and now happens in most positions. The segments have gotten looser and don’t hold. It’s disappointing as it is small and portable, but unfortunately I did not find it to be good build quality.I wish it had been more durable because it gives so much versatility of use.
