Perfect Fit (Just 1 Minor Issue)
UPDATE: Since I wrote this review I have worn this jacket in the rain a few times. It does a great job of keeping me dry in the rain and I don't get cold even when it is in the 60s. It is so lightweight and yet it does not feel cheap or like it will rip or tear easy. The fit is really perfect for me. The zipper being on the opposite side was not how I would have preferred, but I have had no trouble using it as is. Here is my first review: Perfect fit and has everything I wanted in a rain jacket. I had a Marmot before this, but it was too heavy, this jacket is just as durable but it is much lighter and this one is not so warm. This is more a shell than a jacket, if it is cold out this will not keep you warm, and I have not had a chance to really try it in the rain yet, but I love the fit. The zipper is on the left of the jacket or right facing the jacket, and most zippers are on the right or left facing the jacket, I didn't really like that, but after trying it a few times it really is not that much harder to zip and to start it, it was easier, but to start zipping it up I thought it was a minor hassle. I am not sure if they are all like this or if I got one for a lefty, but the fit and the comfort of it (it moves very well and I do not feel confined in it anyway), and it breathes well. The say this is a running jacket and I could actually see myself running in this jacket, I could not in my Marmot, it is too heavy and does not move with comfort like this Loke. I could also see wearing this on a hike or just out and about. It really has the perfect design and everything about it for about anything you would want a rain jacket for. Perhaps this is not heavy enough for a really heavy rainstorm where it could be torn or would have things brushing hard against it, but other than those settings this is perfect.

What’s not to love about this jacket…great purchase!
This jacket is actually waterproof and windproof and does not feel clammy. It’s also a great value. It’s lightweight and packs well. The quality is good. The sizes are trustworthy. It’s also great that it has a hood. The zipper also works well.

Fantastic outer shell
I am very pleased with the style and function of the jacket. It is fully waterproof and keeps the wind out. Went on a steep hike at Devil's Lake (WI) on a windy day with some drizzle and it performed great. The hood is excellent; when up, it doesn't block your sight. The fit is great. I am 6' 2" 195 lbs, (bought a large) and I have room for a sweatshirt underneath, but the jacket is not baggy. It doesn't provide any insulation, but that makes it a better option for warmer temperatures. The armpit zippers are easy to zip/unzip and help vent excess heat. The bungee cinch at the waist gives it a nice look; not sloppy. If you need a waterproof shell and want to keep the price under $70, I would recommend it

Very good VERY light rain jacket
This is a great price for a Helly Hansen jacket. I love the jacket. It is very thin and packable. It is also waterproof, but I wouldn’t use it as a heavy weather jacket on the boat, I use it for light rain days. I wear it all the time though, it has become a go to on messy days. It looks good and the color is great. I took one star off because the Helly Hansen logo is cheap looking. This is not the super premium you get with other more expensive Helly Hansen clothing but for the price they charge for this one you have to expect that.

Keeps you dry, very lightweight
This is a great quality product. Extremely light weight and true to size. I wouldn't purchase this if you want it to keep you warm. It mainly works well for keeping rain and wind off the skin, which is perfect for our Louisiana weather. There are lightweight zippers under the armpits that allow air to circulate. The jacket's zippers are covered by a flaps that Velcro shut. It's so lightweight that it could fold up and fit in a small bag.

Not Waterproof, So It's Not A Rain Jacket
At first it seemed to be nice quality and very lightweight. Seemed great for wearing in the rain in a hot climate. I wore this jacket about 3 times in total. I repelled a gentle rain the first couple times, but I recently wore it for a third time in a regular rainfall. It soaked up the rain like a sponge and I was drenched. The water was coming through the sleeves as if it were a cotton long-sleeved t-shirt. Very disappointing.

Great rain jacket for active pursuits
This is my second HH Loke jacket. I have one that I use for hiking/walking during the winter on rainy days. I bought another for casual wear. It doesn't get very cold where I live (mid-40s on the coldest days) and this jacket with a warm shirt underneath if necessary keeps me warm and dry. I did a 2-hr hike/run in moderate rain; for instance, and I only got slightly wet when I was overheating near the end of the workout and unzipped the top of the jacket, but that was not the jacket's fault. The pit zips are really nice if you're working out and the main zipper works well for venting. You have to be careful with the pocket zippers so that you don't catch the nearby fabric, but I'm not usually zipping and unzipping the pockets a lot. Other than that, the jacket seems very waterproof and sturdy. I usually wear a small jacket, and sometimes a medium, and I wear a medium in this jacket. HH jackets tend to fit small, and this one is no exception. The sleeves in the medium are a little long, but otherwise it fits well. With the velcro on the sleeves, the extra length isn't a problem.

Love!!
This is my favorite raincoat! Have had it for about a year and a half. It’s still like it’s brand new! Keeps me dry in the rain! It’s very lightweight so I don’t feel restricted in it
