Awesome bat
Great bat!!!!!! Bat is lightweight has a ton of pop and I mean a ton, and is worth every penny. My son wanted a wood bat, so we went with the composite not knowing how he would like it. He has only uses this and his $300 Voodo sits in his bag. I would recommend this bat to anyone. Well worth the Brice and line I said has a ton of pop.

Good for the money
As others have pointed out, the barrel of this bat is slightly small. It's still a good bat for the money, looks great, and best of all, it has a 90-day warranty which Easton is quick to honor. I had one of these crack during an at-bat in which I got jammed. For what it's worth, I play in an amateur men's league. At any rate, Easton customer service was great, and quickly closed the warranty claim. They even sent an upgraded bat to replace this one. So, the S1 may not be the best wood bat on the market, but its a worthwhile purchase for those that need an inexpensive wood bat.Side note: I often see poor reviews on wood bats because they break quickly. Readers take note: that can happen with any wood bat, no matter how expensive it is. It makes no difference how much it's been used... all it takes is one solid hit off the handle. Happens to the pros and their $140 bats all the time. Please don't leave poor reviews solely because your bat broke.

Durable bat with good pop!
Love this bat! This is the second one I've owned. It's got good pop when you barrel up the ball and the bamboo core makes it less likely to crack. This is my game day bat so I don't use it for BP. The last one that I had I used for BP and games and it lasted about 6 months before it cracked.

We feel very disappointed because we taught Easton was a reference in wood ...
Our son,16 years old, broked it on his third game ! Just one week after we bought it for his birthday ....What can we do now ? We feel very disappointed because we taught Easton was a reference in wood bat !

Nice feel, but didn't make it to the 3rd game
Purchased the bat for a 19U travel baseball league team. Players liked the weight distribution and feel of the bat. Unfortunately, the bat broke in the second game of use. Average pitcher, average speed. Bat cracked just above the bat wrap. Hard to rate the bat any higher than a 2, even though the players liked the feel of the bat.

Broke after 5 months
Purchased the bat for Christmas 2015. Son liked it but used his composite mostly. The composite broke so he started to use it in the games. After 1 wk, the bat cracked. Not sure if this is an anomaly or if it is just that the bat does not last. Will try a different option and see if there is a different result.

Durable and clean looking
Looks sleek, durable so far. Used in about ten games, all sorts of contact types with no issues. Has a softer feel to it when you make contact in comparison to harder wood bats

Explosive!!!
Very Balanced bat for a woodie, I would venture to say it's a 110 turn. The ball just explodes off this bat when it's barreled. Highly recommended!
