Just what I needed!
I was pretty worried about it being small and tight but it actually fits me perfectly! My head measurement is about 24-24.5 Inches and leans on being slightly too large for standard sizes so I'm always wary of online hat purchases. This fits me without being loose or tight. It's snug to where it won't move with any breeze but comfy enough that a headache isn't gonna come on within a couple minutes of wearing. The fur on the out and inside of the hat is pretty soft! Feels nice to the touch. The coverage of this hat is great and will protect and keep me super warm. I love the mask that comes with it too as my nose generally is a problem area with the cold as well.

Great Hat
I love this hat for the heavy winter days in NH. Friends always call me the mad Russian whenever they see me wearing it, definitely good quality and a warm hat

One of the Better caps out there for the money: This is the review to read
I like this well thought through item. Besides the Fast shipping, the item is Very warm and comfortable -except for the only part I don't care for: It likes to swivel on my head, occasionally, and needs to be redirected to keep it out of my eyes. Though I'm thinking that if you use the straps, they will keep it from moving very easily. But it's not a deal killer. I'd recommend it!The exterior cloth isn't exactly high-end, or of Ripstop doesn't; but definitely worth using around the yard, fields, or putting in the Go-Bag stored in a vehicle, in winter months! The straps aren't exactly Glove friendly, but that's an easy fix*: modify some seatbelt strap to accommodate a 1" Buckle, and attach it in place of the original one. Problem solved. The back of this hat seems to be made for those who will be wearing a scarf or shemagh; and I say that because it is a bit high on the back of the neck.Again though, not a deal killer; as there is an easy fix*: Have Grandma sew some faux fur sewn onto some light weight (water resistant) canvas; then sew it onto the back.* If these are issues you feel need to be addressed to bring a good Dome Warmer to the Next level. It is well worth the money, and I would recommend it for temperatures ranging from 32° -10 maybe even15° with sustaining wind gusts to 35/mph.Note: I feel it warranted to advise that, while I now live in the Southern States of the USA, I have lived in many Northern States of the USA, and even Canada. So I do have applicable knowledge on what is a Good, Better, Best Extreme Weather Winter cap, and this is a Better cap.

Very warm. Very comfortable.
I can't say if it's good below 20 degrees F, but for North Georgia, USA, it's as warm as I'll ever need on the coldest nights. Perfect to keep in the car in case of emergencies or to thaw out when you get home half frozen.Crazy comfortable.UPDATE: Feb 20, 2024I slept outdoors in 15 degree weather on a couple of days wearing this Trooper hat. Went bike riding at 5 am, testing out my gear. Better fit than goose down and as warm. Your face doesn't slide into the side of it when you turn. Great sleep gear. For me, it's not cold enough to wear in the day once the sun comes up.

Does it all!
This hat is amazing. I bought it over a year ago and have used it twice in the arctic circle. It’s a hat, ear muffs, and face wind shield all in one (well, two- the face mask is detachable). I’m not saying you’re going to head to Antarctica necessarily, but for very cold weather this hat is all I needed. The mask is essential for cold weather fjord cruises. Whether you latch the ear pieces together or not depends on how cold it is. So I would say this is very modular. Mask on or off, ear pieces connected or not, etc. That covers a range of temps. During the coldest of breezes my only issue hasn’t been warmth, but rather snow blowing into my eyeballs, but only eye protection can solve that.
