Works as expected!
Key Fob was to replace the OEM on my Mazda 6. Worked like a charm. Followed the instructions on how to self-program and so far, no issues! The back of the key fob has nothing on it. The OEM is noted as being from "Visteon". The one I got has nothing on it. So far I'm happy with it!!!

Cost is great.
I was skeptical when I saw this remote as the last one I bought at the dealer was over $150. But the remotes works and for $20 for the remotes and programming instructions were simple, this is well worth the price. If it lasts a year it will be worth it.

Life changing
Must have product to supplement a chip key. These last forever on a single battery and link with your car's system so easily. I keep a space strapped to the underside of my car in case of a key lock-in; I just had to use it last week and with half a year of weathering the device, it still worked like a charm.

Didn't work No free returns
This did not work, I tried replacing the battery and contacting company. They were quick to respond, but not helpful in fixing the problem as they told me to return it, but I have to pay for that return. That means I'm paying for something I'm not even able to use and now have to find another remote from someone else. Yes, I checked to make sure it was for my vehicle. It looks identical to the original one that quit working. Wish they would have just sent me another remote since this one was a defective.

Use Don's instructions and its extremely easy.
I only gave 4 stars because of lack of instructions. As per dons recommended instruction it was easy to program. I went through 3 different sets of instructions and could not program for my 2004 mazda 6 . Then I stumbled upon dons instructions and was programed in less than 3 minutes.2005 Mazda 6 Remote Programming1. Get in vehicle and close all doors, then open the drivers door and leave it open.2. Within 24 seconds you must insert key into the ignition and cycle the ignition switch to ON and then OFF three times and leave the key in the ignition. Then close and open the drivers door three times.3. When done properly the doors will automatically lock and then unlock. Now the vehicle is in programming mode. If locks do not cycle you must start the procedure over.4. Push the unlock button twice on the first remote to be programmed. The door locks will cycle automatically to indicate successful programming. If there is only one remote to be programmed to the vehicle you must push any button twice again on the same remote, wait for locks to cycle, then push any button twice one more time on the same remote. If there are two remotes to be programmed then press any button on the second remote twice, wait for locks to cycle, then push any button twice again on the second remote. To program three remotes to this vehicle you must press button twice on second remote, wait for locks to cycle, then press any button twice on the third remote.5. Programming is now complete. Close the door and test remotes to ensure proper programming.

Don't go to the dealership, and don't bother trying replace batteries on your old remote.
Got these since my original remotes died. I bought a 3rd remote from dealership and they charged me $120CND for it a few years ago. But when that died recently, I'm happy to have found these for sale.I had tried replacing batteries on the old remotes but the car just won't accept them, even after several reprogramming attempts. So I opted to try these out.Got them, followed the instructions, worked instantly. Totally recommend them for owners of older Mazda 6's They look exactly like the OEM clickers with the exception of the backing having a sticker instead of it being embossed with the information for it. But what matters is they work!
