Q: Will the pill stay cool if the container is left in a hot car?

Maybe a bit longer than just being on the car seat next to it, but not much. The car will heat the stainless steel and the pill inside will feel it. This is not insulated.

The micro one is 1 1/16 inches tall and 1/2 inch in diameter. Fits easily on a keychain and holds three tablets no problem. This is a heavy-duty container with a good seal, well worth the extra expense if you want quality.

Q: What stainless steel degree is this?

I can't say just what the degree os stainless it is but I can tell you that we bought it for our little Corgi, because she is allergic to Bee stings. We bought it about a year ado, to put her allergy pills in & she has been wearing it ever since. In all that time with her walks in wet weather, it shows absolutely no sign of rust or discoloration.
