Please note that though this automatic watch every time you wear this watch after long duration , you need to set the time manually and then its good to go . The built is very solid, feels right on your wrist. Shines on formals and lets you stand apart. - this is what I feel while I use it.

In my opinion seiko is one of the best when it comes to mechanical watchs for beginners and it surely doesn't disappoint it feel heavy , sturdy , well built. It only has a single flaw and that too depends on you i dont andmire the bracelet that much it feel a littel less polished and not that well made but offers good bang for buck the dial and the centerpiece is just amazing considering the price point even i would say best in 50k range so if you believe that your wrist feels empty without this particular version and have the money to buy the watch then just ho for it. I Waited 1.5 years just glanceing at it on showrooms and online outlets and when the time felt right i just order it i was just amazing. I would have given it a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the bracelet rest of the features are just amazing.

This is pretty much the same as any Seiko 5 watch with a 4R36 movement. What makes it very unique and rarer than the others is the 'Time Sonar' reimagination dial. Its transparent. I got this colour out of personal preference and a teal dial is also available. The case back is tinted black, a nod to the original design. The case back may be a deal breaker for some, so please watch some reviews before buying. The dial is not as transparent as you may think it is, but just enough to make it feel like a complex watch with a lot of details. Looks way better in person. Vee Ess seller shipped the watch well and I received the watch in proper undamaged packaging. The warranty card was duly signed and filled too.

The watch is gorgeous. I swapped out the band with the jubilee bracelet on Amazon I think it dressed it up and it’s a heavier band.

Had my eye on a Seiko 5 for a while, liked the styles and the whole nice-ish automatic watch for the working class concept. Couldn't get past the compromises in the bracelet, movement, and water resistance though. So along comes the Sport series, which addresses those issues but to me lost some of the style and fun. Then I saw this model, seemed like just the thing. Splits the difference between an everyday practical and a dress watch perfectly for me. Very happy with it overall. Looks great, wears well, very comfortable for a watch that's a good bit chunkier than I'm used to. I wouldn't want it a mm bigger but it doesn't present as oversized on my 8-ish inch wrist. Removed 1 link for a perfect fit. Accuracy is excellent, interesting, these are supposed to be rated for about +/- 30 seconds a day but mine is good for 6 to 12. Plus, it runs a little slow on the wrist and a little fast off, such that the first week I wore it, it was dead on at the end of the week. Brilliant if that's by design. So yah, real nice watch, very happy with it.
