I've got a 20 lb chihuahua terrier and I bought a size large for her. It fits really well and is very stylish. The velcro is super sticky. So good that it takes a bit of effort to remove it at the end of a long walk. My dog is a shedder so hair frequently sticks to the knit side (which I have my dog wear on the outside) but I think that's normal for a dog jacket (or any piece of clothing, dog or human!). Easy to put on, velcro in 2 spots (under belly and under chin) make this a secure jacket that won't flop off. A great jacket at a great price!
