You can tell the quality right off the bat. So much less dusty than other leading brands, rinsed clean almost immediately. I like the smaller granulars as it seems like fit does a much better job filtering the water through it and my tank is amazingly crystal clear. Will always buy this going forward.

I didn't know we needed a carbon filter for our fish tank. Yhe filter we has had carbon in it but not enough to either smell. This was an awesome buy because I can cut it to the size I need it to be, plus it got rid of the smell coming from the fish tank.

Charcoal does its job keeps aquarium water crystal clear either use bag that comes with it or purchase extra fine bags I used my fine media bags and charcoal was coming out now that issue solved will definitely purchase again.
