Yes, the remote that the camera comes with can control up to 3 cameras. Change the DIP switches on the bottom of the unit. You will need to set SW2 DIPs 5 & 6 to the required setting to number your cameras 1, 2, or 3. Otherwise, as Jorge noted, they will move together by default. As far as wiring multiple cameras together, having had similar cameras to this one, I’m pretty sure that this will work as well. You can daisy chain your RS485 connectors on a longer cable and then control them via a joystick/keypad controller back at your video booth. To change the camera’s ID / address to match your controller settings, make sure to adjust the DIP switches on the bottom of the unit.

Does the remote work from behind the camera?

In other directions, the IR is refracted to the objects and finally refracted to the camera to receive. Therefore, if you want to control from the side, we recommend avoiding the blind spot, and according to the principle of IR, point the remote control to the Flat Object or Wall in front of the camera, so that the IR can be refracted to the infrared receiver of the camera.
