Would I be able to overclock to 6000/6400mhz while maintaining the cl28 cas latency?

Lol, I like the first answer. It's entirely accurate. Overclocking is a compromise of balance. The ram is rated for what it's rated. Any faster clock speeds will always incur a latency penalty. I am choosing this set for several reasons. 1. If you bleed "all-red" like myself, no one makes better ram for AMD than gskill. 2. When it comes to AMD, and gskill understands this, high frequency speeds are not the Hallmark of champions. AMD is limited by it's infinity fabric. As long as you stay within that range, AMD is the horse I bet on everytime. It's not like the ddr4 platform for Intel where you can use crazy OC sets of 4800mhz. You have to chase the precious 1:1 ratio. On am4 that was arguably 3600 stock, MAYBE 4000 on some really high end gear before you start incurring latency penalties. 3. Better to have a still potently fast clock speed, stable(amd XPO tuned) on this platform, which ive been getting many many reports of RAM booting issues on am5, and stay within the 1:1:1 ratio. With this RAM, I can run the ram, CPU, and fabric all at the same speed which is golden for AMD performance and now what makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE is latency. Sure some Intel ram and chips are boasting insanely high clock speeds, but translate that to "real world" and it's worth nothing. Congrats, you guys set a single threaded workload record. Who is buying this kind of tech to do single threaded workloads? What I do know is this, I'm going to be running this with a 7900xd, on an ROG strix x670e gaming(which can handle the speeds) along with dual rx6700xts, and I'll be running it under full load on all cores, all the time, and with the lowest set of timing's currently available, this ram is going to translate those speeds into real world performance. I have a unique addition means of benchmarking, where I run a system under full load with identical conditions for an hour chewing the randomX mining algorithm, which is the toughest CPU based mining algorithm, and that's what I translate into real world performance. Then I add up the cost of the materials, the electrical draw, and the performance to payout, gaining a new metric in which to assess tech. The "XMR speed" if you will. Sorry, j got off topic, point being if you're already an AMD fan looking to go into the am5 platform, you likely already know about the golden ratio. I have very rarely found a set of gskill ram I actually chose to tweak past it's xmp frequency because the incurred latency penalties on the ram and the fabric were not worth it. Fabric is the magic and the bottleneck. Buy a set near or at the edge of the fabric rating for speed, and then find the set with the lowest latency in that speed. I learned this the hard way. I had several systems with 3-400 dollar sets of gimmicky ram in them, thinking I was a bigshot with my fancy addressable LEDs and massive heat spreading fins. Then someone showed me gskill, and I never went back. Function over form. The great thing about it is, I have about 10 separate builds running right now, and each and every one has near the best ram set money can buy, and no one set exceeded $150. I realized price does not always mean get more because you pay more. Most of them have no flashing lights, and are short and modest, gray and black, but they are all the best performers on the market based on my XMR speed analytics, and they all have low latency timing's and gskill in common. I will post an update once I get my set and run my tests(I'm excited to see how rhe XD performs on the am5 platform)

Excellent kit for the AM5 platform!

I recently built my own gaming PC for the first time. It features a Ryzen 7600 CPU, a ASUS Strix B650E-I ITX motherboard and this kit paired perfectly with both of those items along with EXPO enabled. Just be sure you use your motherboard’s BIOS flashback feature to upgrade to your most bios before enabling EXPO speeds for the kit. Oh yeah, the RGB is beautiful as well.

Updated: Decent product, but one stick bad oob.

UPDATE: GSkill customer service was extremely helpful and replaced my ram sticks. Been working phenomenally ever since! Absolutely love this RAM! It takes a bit more force to get slotted than DDR4, but not impossible. Only down side to this is I received one good stick of ram and one stick that wouldn’t work. Good news, however, is that even running one stick of this ram is still allowing for fantastic performance! Waiting to head back from GSkill customer service.

Affordable DDR-5 that packs a punch.

32 gigs in the current DDR-5 market at just under $100 offers great value. The latency is low, and i was able to overclock the sticks right in my BIOS(hit delete on your keyboard as you boot the computer up) up to 5600mhz with no issue to match what my processor supports. Happy I chose these sticks for my new pc build
