For me and my Giant Dogs
I am getting older and as a physician, I take for myself for some minor back discomfort in the morning, as needed and provide this to my two dogs (Black Russian Terriers) since Sept 2019: my 4 y/o female seems more puppy like and the two y/o has been fine. Giant breeds are known to get elbow/hip dysplasia and if I can avoid that it will save me a lot of money and grief. Their parents are purebred and they were Xrayed and shown as normal or better in both hips and elbows, so genetically they will be fine, but environmentally I didn't allow them to jump, as pups to play, but they have walked up and down 4 flights of stairs several times daily and climbed on and off two feet high furniture as pups. They get a tablespoon in their water per meal and then I add the kibble to the water 2x daily. They don't notice the flavor and could care less. I did notice that my male had been vomiting bile between meals at times if they were two far apart, and with this supplement, it never happens anymore - like ever. The only change was this to their meals. Thus, both the male and female, seemed to have benefited in different ways. As far as the flavor added to cold water, I drink with a metal straw, it helps in mixing and getting in more fluid daily, I don't really taste it. If I drink without a straw, their is a very mild difference in flavor. Nothing too distasteful.Update: I now have 4 BRT giant dogs and two new ones were adopted and have joint issues in hips and elbows. This seems to help them. Only issue is that prices have skyrocketed. It use to be like 80. Per case now 188. It’s tough, but me and my animals really need this supplement to keep them away from the vet. It’s cheaper than vet visits.

Good stuff
I use the stuff in my protein shake daily. I think it’s very helpful. I have a herniated disc in old injuries. Yet I am able to push pretty hard in the gym 4 to 5 days a week with a minimal pain. I am still avoiding upper body working out. But I feel like this definitely helps a lot! I use a high-quality protein powder, collagen, vitamin C, green superfood powder, Maca root, Cayenne pepper for thermogenic burn, and this stuff. Also, injuries heal very slowly compared to what they used to. I am 40 years old. Hope this review helps. I was super lucky to get this for a great price when it was on sale! I would recommend to others. Unfortunately, the expiration date was pretty quick, but that’s my own fault for buying in bulk. But it’s all good! I will use it regardless. I bought it in April 2020. The texture and everything seems to be just fine. I doubt it will turn to poison right at October 2021. Lol.

We make models with it!
I gave it a 5 for flavor, but we never eat it. We use it to make models of body parts like the brain so the students can see and hold them. A hard model is just not the same as a gelatin model. We put grapes into the brain models and let the students use forceps and scalpels to remove the "tumors". They love it and really get into handling the parts that have a "bodylike" feel to them, not too squishy. Not quite as hard a ballistic gel, but close, we do make it firmer than gelatin molds for eating . Buying it by the case saves us money since teachers support their classrooms from their own pocketbooks. Thanks.

Exactly as Described
I received this product mid 2019 and the expiration date is 2021, thus I am very satisfied. I ordered the 12 pack and received 12. Taste is exactly as expected, not very palatable unless you add some sort of flavor. Product is a powdered gelatin, primarily intended as an additive to foods (usually decorative desserts) that allows them to shaped and molded. If using this for relief of joint pain, understand that when added to water (for drinking), it is naturally clumpy and bland, if not slightly distasteful. You might want to add flavoring.

If you are making desert gelatin, this has a slight animal flavor.
I use this to make custom Jello™ flavors. It has a slightly different texture, and a slight flavor to it. I love it, but some other people have complained that it doesn't taste the same.To make custom Jello (2 qts):Stir 4 tablespoons of Knox into a cup of cold water.Get 3 cups of water in a pan to 170°F or hotter.Mix the Knox into the hot water.Get 4 cups of cold water.Add a packet of your favorite Kool-Aid flavor to it.Add the appropriate sweetener for the Kool-Aid. I use 6 tablespoons of powered Aspartame, but you can use anything that you like.Add the cold flavor+sweetener mix to the hot Jello. This will make 2 qts or 5 Solo Cups (add a little fruit to each if you like).

gelatine for painful joints
I developed a painful condition in my knee. If I knelled down on the floor the knee would experience great pain when I straightened my leg. I started taking the gelatine with each meal - 1 tbs stirred in with cool water. I am about to finish my 3rd can of the gelatine and the pain is almost entirely gone. As a plus my finger nails have gotten stronger. One that has split all most all the time and was painful has totally stopped. I have started to reduce the amount I am taking to about 3/4 tbs. With the next week I will reduce it to 1/2 tbs and stick with that. It works
