I bought 3 of them. - I'm a tea fanatic who wants my tea hot and without the awful metallic taste that comes from stainless steel tumblers. This is my holy grail and after buying one of them and trying it, I bought two more in case the first ever breaks. The glass is very thick and you can tell its high quality and wouldn't break easily (though it is still glass, so don't drop it). The thick glass makes it heavier than you might expect overall, but that's reassuring. I've had thin glass tumblers in the past and using them always came with anxiety that they would break if they tipped over, and also burned fingers from the thin glass. However, I can pick up this tumbler right after just pouring boiling water into it and the glass is just pleasantly warm. The bottom also stays quite cool and I often set it on my coffee table without a coaster because there's no need for one (though a little condensation can collect under the bottom of the glass, for some reason). The lid is also top quality and I often put it in my purse next to my phone and haven't had any issues with leaking so far. Just be sure to close it fully and you should be fine. Also the rounded design is elegant and aesthetically pleasing and feels good in the palm of your hand. It's the right height to drink from, unlike some tall tumblers which can feel awkward to drink from. CON: The strainer it comes with isn't large enough for large-leaf loose tea and I'm guessing I would burn my fingers trying to pull it out because it sits too deeply in the cup. However, being a tea fanatic, I have a whole drawer full of better strainers (2'' diameter fits well) so that's no issue for me. The stainless steel mesh strainers that cost $1 work just fine and don't add much metallic taste to the tea, though if I'm able to find a 2'' glass strainer I will use that instead. I'm probably being a hoarder, but I may buy even more of these than the 3 I already have, just because I want to use these for the rest of my life, and though they're thick glass, if one ever breaks I want to be sure I have more. That's how great these are. And I wasn't given any free gift or incentive to post a good review for this product; I really am just in love with it and hope the company never stops selling these. Review: So far so good (purchased in April 2018) - I've owned this cup for more than a year now. Still going strong. Pro: -cover is leakproof. I usually tip it upside down so that my tea mixes faster, and it has never leaked -warm to the touch, even when using with boiling water. I work in a very cold place, so it's very comforting to hold the bottle while I wait for the tea to cool enough to drink -pretty to look at. I love watching my tea mixing with honey -infuser is rust-free so far. I red of reviewers who have had trouble with rusty infuser. So far so good with me. My tea still tastes lovely. -easily recognizable? Me and my ditzy self left this bottle more than once at work, and when I come back, someone always comes to me like, "Hey, you forgot your fancy bottle. It's over there by the blankets" or such. It's my small luxury. Con: -infuser stays very hot, and you cannot remove it while there's hot liquid touching it. No biggie, just simple thermodynamics. -infuser is not suitable for loose leaves. I fashion my own tea bags when I want to enjoy loose leaves at work. But lately I just reserve the loose leaves experience for home. Too much gymnastics. I just put tea bags in the infuser for funsies, honey and lemon at the bottom, and watch it all slowly mix together when I pour hot water. -It may not stay hot for as long as you might like. I believe my record is 3-4 hrs, and by that time it's luke warm. So if you're looking for some loooong term heat retaining vessel, this may not be it. Try stainless steel, vaccum-sealed containers. But I will not hold it against this bottle; it retains the heat long enough for me to enjoy my tea -I get very anxious when using it because it's made of glass. It slides very easily along a smooth surface and I'm afraid I will break it some day. I'm not sure if it's shatterproof. But then again, this is not a point against the bottle. It's very well-made. I just don't trust my clumsy self.

The outside cover and cop are great, but what is the point of this if ...
At first the product was marvelous. It did what it was supposed to do. After a while the tea infuser basket started rusting and I started to get a metal taste in my tea. The outside cover and cup are great, but what is the point of this if you cannot diffuse tea because you end up drinking rust-tasting tea? If you wanted a cup you would’ve bought a cup no? Don’t see the point. Do not buy. EDIT: The company contacted me and offered to send me another infuser. So far it has not rusted and it's working ok. I'm going from 1 star to 4 stars.

Attractive, leakproof, drinkable
I'm impressed with this thermos. It's more leakproof than I expected (no leaks even on its side in my bag) and I get compliments on its appearance from baristas. Specifically, I bought this thermos because others keep my drinks TOO hot--I want to drink my coffee in the next 10 minutes, not 2 hours later--and while this thermos retains heat, it doesn't keep it for too long, which is perfect for my needs. It is heavy (the glass is thick) and slippery to hold with gloves in the winter, but fine to hold in your hand. I haven't used it with the steeper basket so I can't comment on that. It was also packaged well, with several layers of bubble wrap in a snug box.

Poor insulation.
I like everything about it except that there appears to be no vacuum between the glass layers thus causing a loss of insulation against heat loss. You can feel the heat escaping.

Great
I love it! Use it for work. I don't use the tea stuff part but I use it for my coffee. Keeps my coffee hot/ warm and doesn't burn my hand. The glass bottom is also thick and well made. Although it's not meant to drink to go.. i still love that the cap screws so there's no spill.

This is a solid, well designed quality product. I've bought two. Thinking of buying more as gifts
