Pelican Case 1750 Replacement Foam Inserts Set 3 Pieces Rifle Shotgun

This Cobra foam is sized correctly for use in the Pelican 1750 case. It's 3 pieces of solid foam approximately the same size as the middle and top pieces of the original foam (that comes with the case). If you want to use all 3 to fill an empty case (or replace old foam) you would just need to cut the third piece shorter to fit the wheel wells. Or you can use each one as the middle piece for a different cargo cutout.The only issue is that the material is much softer than the original Pelican foam that came with the case. By softer I mean that it is much easier to compress. Now this might be ideal for you if you're planning to transport lighter items. It is likely preferable to the original foam for some uses. But the 1750 is a rifle case, and for that purpose or for other heavy items, I'd feel more confident with the denser Pelican foam.The foam seems otherwise good quality, and there was no promise that the foam would be a similar density to the original. The reduced density is probably why the price is so reasonable. Still a bit disappointing for a product intended for a rifle case. I intend to keep it, use it only for the middle piece (with the original foam on top and bottom), make the cutouts smaller for a snugger fit around each item, and leave extra room around each cutout (extra foam between each item and the case walls and in between items). But I'm sort of wishing I'd just spent more and bought the Pelican foam.

Was about 2 inches short. Not something you want when you have several $thousands of dollars of equipment in the case. Ordered by specific brand and model number. Corners were sharp instead of rounded like the case. So had to trim there for a clean fit. The price was to good to be true. Still made use of it till I can afford to just replace the whole case with correct fitting foam.

I found the cut and fit to be just fine. The texture and firmness was perfect. I now have a center foam piece for three rifles.

The foam is awsome and seem very resilient it cut clean and I even have room for two ar-15 rifles I plan to order another set so I can use the case for my other rifles and hand guns
