Loved it!!! Watch twice as it's better second time.

Just what I needed

I have three adult daughters. All of them loved playing with Barbie dolls when they were young. The oldest and youngest have both seen the film and enjoyed it.This DVD was bought as a Christmas gift for my middle daughter who lives abroad and has not seen it yet.It arrived on time and in perfect condition andI am sure it will be enjoyed.

Fairly enjoyable, includes "the message" but almost tongue in cheek which makes it bearable. A visual spectacle.

Can't believe I bought "Barbie"! Still - a nice film. Highly entertaining. Somewhat confusing. I never thought about the "Ken" issue before. There was so much hype about the movie so I had to see it for myself. Once again though I have not gone back to it since. And I have mixed emotions about the star herself. How could that be I hear you ask? But she is adaptable taking on difference roles. Sonya was no Barbie.

If you’re not a fan of Barbie and just want a good laugh and feel good film then I’d say watch this.

Well, I'm old, don't go to the cinema, so didn't go on a group family outing to see this. My wife thought it was 'not good', not her actual words. I got the disc because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. *** 3 stars is being generous, I'm still not sure what to think about it. I spent a lot of years in a showbizzy world, on and off. Looking at all the angles, with a little tweaking, it could be aimed at three to nine year children. that's all I'm saying. There were a few scenes where I could see chararators try to communicate to each other, some worked most did not. All in all, an okay idea that didn't work. Had it been aimed at children, it may have......But I would think the vast majority of children growing up, did not have dolls.....cars, trucks, buses, trains, stuffed animals etc. Flop.
