I thought I would have to buy a new water fountain when I threw mine away! Then I found out I can just buy the pump?! This is awesome! It works amazingly how the original worked. Now I know I can come back here. It’s great water flow, no noise, and it fit my fountain!

This pump was much easier to take apart than the original one. It works great and there aren't as many nook and crannies to get clean. Good value, too! Just wish it didn't take so long to get here!

Original Pump stopped working after awhile and I was really upset at first that I would need a new bowl until I realized the pump had been underwater working 24/7 for maybe 9 months and that was actually pretty impressive and I realized maybe the battery just died (I know I should’ve realized this first) so I bought a new battery and I didn’t know if it would work but it’s been great!!

I'd bought the petlibro water fountain some time ago for our cats and they were both using it quite happily. However, the first pump that came with it lasted only about 6 months before it began producing an ineffective dribble of water, which quickly became nothing at all. OK, I thought, I'll see if you can buy a new pump, and found that you could and that they're relatively cheap. Reading other reviews revealed to me that their life expectancy is not very long, so, on the basis that our cats enjoy the petlibro fountain, thought it would be acceptable to place a subscribe and save order for the replacement pump, every 3 months.Placed this order on 10/27 and received the first pump and the petlibro fountain is back in action. All good so far, until the last week, when this 'new' pump has begun to deteriorate to the point of no longer working at all, in just over 2 weeks. I do have the water fountain plugged in, and don't use the motion sensor feature so the pump runs constantly, and I suspect that in this scenario, these pumps are simply not up to the job, although more than a couple of weeks usage should be expected. Unless petlibro can step up and replace this, then I am probably going to ditch the petlibro fountain, as clearly, a fountain it is not (well, not for very long!).

I've had my fountain for two years and the motor burned out. The replacement motor is so inexpensive that I bought two, just so I can have one on hand if it ever happens again. My kitty girls were so upset about going one day without their fancy fountain.

I got this as a replacement and was happy to see it was an updated motor, easy to clean, its build to last too.

Don’t trust the fountain so bought a backup. So far so good.

Works with the petlibro docking fountains I have. I ordered a 3rd fountain for the spoiled herd, cleaned all fountains and pieces the same way together (warm soapy water and vinegar), and the new pump called it quits immediately. But this replacement works perfectly, dropped right in, pumped away, and the cats are thrilled.
