What pre-built cable is recommended as an extension for the Serial cable? My control head and G90 transceiver is about 10 feet apart.

You can try any 3.5mm stereo extension cable, preferably a shielded one. With the increase of the cable length the possibility of errors in serial communication also increases so the success is not guaranteed.
