Bought this for my father who has developed very bad coccyx pain now. He was using a round inflatable pillow and relief was minimal. This on the other hand he says provides way better support and relief. Night and day difference! He still has pain but driving is more tolerable and sitting also. I sit and don’t think about sitting and seeing my father who now has to have a special seat/pillow really makes me so grateful for being able to sit pain free. I am so happy that this pillow helped him and others who have this pain. This pillow is firm and comfortable. I weigh 190 and pillow held its shape after trying it.

Offers some much needed support. I had no idea what I was missing. Just makes me feel more elevated and comfy in my chair. It’s nice size allows it to move between chair, office chair ect. It is very firm too which I love, it’s not like sitting on a pillow. Much better than cotton. Haven’t tried it in a vehicle as I have to get in and out a lot.

I'm around 290 lbs. and this pillow is perfect for me. Yes, it does squish down, but it still provides cushion and also reduces pressure on the coccyx by maybe 50% (at least). Overall quality is good and the price is fair. I figure I'll replace it with a new one every six months.

It was also comfortable in the car but I prefer something not quite as thick (high) for that act. I'm on the heavier side but do not feel this pillow needs to be any larger -- it does not create any abnormal pressure points. It is soft enough to "give" as opposed to being a hard resistance. The bottom is a layer of non-slip beads which is likely taken for granted as the pillow stays put while plopping down. This is good quality memory foam. It is comfortable to me. 5 STARS UNITED donut pillow. Good results. Translation, relief.

I couldn’t recommend this donut pillow enough! I’ve had horrible sciatica and tail bone pain with this second pregnancy. I first used it on our 16hr car trip and THANK GOODNESS I HAD IT. I had NO pain from sitting in the car the whole time. Now at home, I’ll use it if I’m sitting on the floor or couch for a longer period of time and it for sure helps my body. I will say it’s fluffy and durable. A con is it is pretty high in height, I wasn’t a fan of that.

This was recommended by my doctor for hip pain. I gave it a try and could not get comfortable with it. Well made, just didn't work for hip support. I returned the donut.
