does it cause 'flash flaring' when taking a photo at night like some cases that ar clear tend to do?

It is firm but soft so not a solid hard case like some are, easy to put on and take off

Does the phone still work in a speaker dock with cover on ?

It didn't on my Belkin dock, returned.
