Good for the price
This is the second pair that I have purchased, so this review is based on several years usage of an identical pair I bought a few years ago. I do quite a lot of hill walking, so I have probably needed to wear gaiters a dozen times a year, if not more. Eventually the zip on one of my previous pair failed, hence buying a new pair. They have certainly done the job - keeping my lower legs free from mud. They are quite easy to clean - much easier than washing a pair of trousers that would then require re-proofing. After plenty of use the velcro zip covers were starting to weaken, so it was probably time to renew them even before the zip itself failed. On my legs they come to just below my knee so quite comfortable and adjustable. Because they zip at the front it feels as if you are putting them on "backwards", but the laces hook works fine and the underboot strap has lasted surprisingly well. For the price they are worthwhile in my opinion.

Really good and exceed expectations
Wow as these were not at all expensive I didn’t expect them to be fab but they are. I used themA lot and they are great. They do the job of keeping my legs dry and clean when out dog walking on wet muddy days. They are easy to get on and off. The only this I will say I’d the hoot strap is a bit fiddly Initially and the extra length hangs down and if not tucked in can be gridded on and annoying- easily rectified if you place it to the side and tuck the end back in to the clasp thingy before first use then you won’t need to mess with it again

I chose these gaiters as they represented excellent value. To be honest
I chose these gaiters as they represented excellent value. To be honest, I wasn't sure how good the quality would be for such a low priced item but I couldn't have been more pleased, they are excellent. The first time I wore them unfortunately, it revealed the the stitching at the bottom of the zip hadn't quite caught properly when being sewn in. I popped a quick email over to Digiflex who responded immediately with an apology and pledge to send me another pair, no questions asked, no quibble. When they arrived the very next day to say I was pleased is an understatement. EXCELLENT customer service! The second pair were absolutely fine and saved me from a completely wet foot when I sank in a bog when wearing them the following day. I actually couldn't believe it prevented water from getting inside my walking boot, but it did - they fit so well with great adjustment, the strap which goes under the foot enables you to pull it really taut and that, coupled with additional velcro covering the zip is probably what made them on this occasion, watertight. I was VERY please! All in all, this purchase and dealing with Digiflex has been a very positive experience and I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Fundamentally good, but needs work.
As gaiters go, these are alright. Nothing special and should work fine. Quite light and the material isn't bad. What let mine down was poor stitching and a drawcord that pulled straight out on their first use. Some needle'n'thread work later and I'd had that sorted. Annoying but not a problem. The seams are not taped, so the possibility of them leaking is there, but I solved this with tent seam sealer.I'll give these a more thorough workout when it snows bad enough to warrant them, otherwise they'll stay in my hiking backpack for 'just-in-case' reasons.

Does the job perfectly
The TRIXES Hiking Gaiters are perfect for my hiking activities. In muddy and wet situations, they are very good at repelling all dampness and mud. They are great to keep clean with just a shake and damp cloth although, the straps need a little more attention. These gaiters are one size fits all and they were easily adjustable to fit my slim legs with the pull string and and straps. I found no case of them slipping down or moving whilst wearing them/The only downside I found was the bottom straps could have done with being a little longer just to make it a little easier to get them around my hiking boots.

Have used quite a number of times now and work fine. The material is perhaps a bit on the light side - but does all that is required. Don't know how long they will last. Only issue I have is that the top draw chord - even when tightened - starts to drift and collapse down my shins and occasions needs adjustment when walking. If drawn too tight it could impinge of blood circulation - but maybe its the shape do my legs??Having now used these about 4 or 5 times at most, useful to update review. Had, rating as I reckon buyers are looking for something that is going to last more than 4 or so outings. Still functional, but you get what you pay for. The construction starts to show.1 Have had to restitch threading around the zips and will have to do more if I do not replace.2 The underfoot straps are always vulnerable and wearing badly now. One strap has broken at the buckle. These straps could be repaired and replaced - but after just 4 outings - perhaps that is a bit much. And you don't want thinks coming loose when out walking or climbing. With the old system of a lacing chord an eyelets underfoot, you can always carry a spare lace or chord to make good when out.Even if I repair, I reckon I will get a new pair and something more robust if possible.
