I've bought a lot of stuff for the garden this Summer -
I initially bought this so that I could have pretty flowers cascading down to produce a mass of colour!(That is the last of the gushy poetry). When it arrived it resembled Noah's Ark in a Flat Pack. However, it went together pretty easily but I'd suggest an extra pair of hands would be beneficial. It is deceptive, in the picture it looks much larger than it actually is (and yes, I should have checked the sizes provided).I have used it as a miniature Herb Garden - However, the sections only hold a small amount of soil and you must get a good mixture of soil and mulch because it doesn't take very long for the soil to dry out.Other than that, It's a good and sturdy product, it would benefit from some wood preservative if you have the time.It arrived well packed and turned up quite quickly. I'm satisfied with my purchase.I shall be placing it in my greenhouse for the Winter with a watering can close by so that I can water my herbs occasionally

Very sturdy
Hard work to put together. There are a lot of screws going into pieces of wood where holes had not been started. Even our electric screwdriver struggled to go through the wood. Once constructed it looks good, we shall see how durable it is.

Excellent tiered planter
This planter was easy to assemble, after which we treated it with 2 costs of yacht varnish before staple-gunning in the supplied liners. Then we planted two strawberry plants per tier. It looks really good and is excellent value for money. Some people have commented on the lack of pre-drilled screw holes, but we didn’t find that to be a problem at all.

Nice but needs a fair bit of extra work
I really like the look of this and, despite the reviews warning that it was poorly made with not enough pilot holes, I took a punt and bought it. Well, the other reviews were not lying, this item seems to be missing about two thirds of the required pilot holes for screwing it together. Luckily I have a drill and used a 1.5mm bit to create these pilot holes in the appropriate spots, but it took me at least 90 minutes to figure all this out. I bought this 3 months ago and if I just tried to screw it together with no additional holes, I think I would still be sat there turning the blunt wood screws into flat wood. Also, the holes that are prepared are not countersunk. This little planter does look nice, but only buy it if you fancy a little afternoon project, it is not fit for purpose as a ready-made item.

Cute and easy to build.
Wanted for alongside a brand new hand build raised pond and it fits perfectly. I unfortunately managed to get the top two shelves wonky on first attempt but fixed by restarting with the bottom one, stapling the liner in place then putting the next shelf on and repeating so I only had to get the bottom shelf straight and the rest followed. It's not the most expensive looking planter, but it looks pretty good, is sturdy, compact and the pieces feel solid. I'll give it a varnish and probably put some strawberry plants in the top, let them cascade down and hopefully encourage the frogs to explore the pond.

Do not buy - terrible product
This seller uses Hermes/evri for delivery so bare that in mind.Product is made from Chinese timber, no measurements on the instructions, no pre drilled holes or even marked where you are supposed to screw, the screws are 40mm when they should be at least 50 with a bare top of the shaft.Product is also quite small, fits 3 strawberry plant per row.I bought this due to the price of timber, but in retrospect I should have just bought timber and made one myself as I can't see this lasting more than 1 season, so in effect this product is manufactured landfill waste
