Really good, still works

Purchased this set last Christmas (December 2022), and as of February 2024 (just over a year) it's still doing the job well! The packaged batteries for the battery powered trimmer have only just run out for me (though I don't use it every week), and the trimmer itself does as good of a job as you could expect. As other reviews had mentioned, it is pretty noisy, possibly because of the cheap plastic used. It was also disappointing that there aren't many attachment options to trim beards to different lengths - only the shortest attachment for the mains powered trimmer can really be used for keeping shorter beards neat & tidy, without completely shaving them off. But again, it does the job perfectly well for me, and at a very affordable price. Even if my current set breaks tomorrow, I wouldn't mind having to buy another one for £20 each year.

Let me start by saying that I am amazed at the high quality of the main clippers and battery powered trimmer, very professional. I can't comment on the 'nose hair trimmer' because it will not be used. The slight letdown is in the package. The case is a low quality plastic affair which fits rather badly. The different clipper comb attachments are also cheap bendy plastic, most of which had taken a distorted set owing to being stuffed into a bag together. The set also includes a clipper maintenance brush and oil, and a pair of scissors. So, a generous collection for the money. Main point to take away is the high quality of the clippers. Very good value overall. I gave middling rating for 'comfort' and 'easy to use' because I am new to this self-haircut business, and it obviously takes some practise.

I bought this kit as i've always had good experiences with Wahl products and it had been reduced to £21. It inlcudes three main tools (plus various accessories) It has large wall plug clippers with all the grade attachments, ideal for doing haircuts and you never run out of battery. Then there is a small battery operated clipper, good for finer work in small spaces like around the ears and neck etc...And battery powered is fine as I don't use these for as long. And then there is a little ear and nose trimmer, perfect for clearing annoying hairs from the ears and nose of the gentleman of a certain age...ahem....hehe The whole kit comes packed in a little plastic tool box which is ideal for sliding under the sink....I absolutely love this kit, and my husband does too. Will mean he can always look neat and fresh and it will save us a fortune at the barbers! x

The clipper itself is very good. But the guards of the different sizes are a joke to be honest. They are very flimsy and some of them are completely wonky making it fully unusable. I am not sure if this is a one-off problem but I am unable to use them. I have used my old ones for one haircut. Now I am unsure whether I can return it or not. Or if I can request replacements clips.

I picked up this set during Prime Day. You get a lot for the price: Clippers - This comes with 10 attachments covering many lengths from 0 upwards. They feel sturdy and made of a hard-wearing plastic. They have a bit of flex in them but I find that is better than them being brittle and snapping. Battery Trimmer - This is perfect for shaping up around the neck and sides to get a clean, barber-style cut. The batteries supplied are still working after weekly use. This would fit easily into a toiletry bag. Battery Ear, Nose and Brow Trimmer - I haven't use this yet but it looks like a decent quality trimmer compared to ones I've seen in the past. It is small too so would easily fit into a toiletry bag. Cleaning brush - This has proved very useful, especially for cleaning the battery trimmer after use! Bade Oil - You don't get much in the bottle but there is definitely plenty to keep you going for a few months. I find people overlook the important step of oiling their trimmer. Most of the time, the reason they don't perform as well as they could is that the blades aren't lubricated properly. Use the oil after cleaning and you may be surprised! Barber comb - Just a standard plastic comb. I suspect it was added just to increase the list of accessories this set comes with as it isn't particularly good quality. Scissors - Again, these aren't very good quality. It should be noted that this comes with three AA batteries so you can get started straight away. All of this can be neatly stored in the hard case provided! I think this could make a great gift for someone. Overall, for the price (£12.79) I think that this is a steal. Granted, some of the accessories aren't top quality but at the budget end of grooming products, you really can't go wrong, even at £18.35 (at time of writing)! Everything is as shown in the description. The big trimmer works only while connected. The comb is too thin weak which makes it very difficult to use. Overall good for the price.

Al inizio avevo paura in comprarlo x non aveva nessuna recensione , però mi sono fidato sull marchio whal ! Ora posso dire che sono abbastanza soddisfatto con la macchinetta, taglia bene fa loro lavoro ! E poi la consegna è stata arrivata 3 giorni prima del previsto ! Sto dando 4 stelle soltanto x la plastica del pentino davvero bassa qualità e anche la scatola ! Poi il custo beneficio davvero buono !!! Sono contentissimo ! Lo consiglio !

Tres bon rapport qualité prix, recu rapidement et vendeur réactif et a l'écoute. Je recommande ce produit. Reste toutefois a voir combien il va durer, mais vu le prix il sera vite amorti.
