I have brushed with regular fluoride, foaming, minty toothpaste all my life. Then I began to get more interested in the remineralisation of teeth and began to do some research.I decided to try a remineralising natural toothpaste and found this particular brand and read some reviews. I have been using the toothpaste twice daily for a month now and I will never go back to the regular stuff you buy in shops, even though this toothpaste is quite a bit more expensive.Firstly, it is grey and putty like. It also doesn't foam like most toothpastes. It doesn't have an overwhelmingly minty taste. Georganics is far more subtle, yet I believe that my teeth are much better for using it.It takes a few days to get used to the taste and texture of this toothpaste, but like anything new, you quickly acclimatise to the new sensations. A pea sized amount is easy to apply to your tooth brush with the handy plastic spatula which is provided. Applying it to your teeth also takes a bit of practice as it is crumbly to begin with. Once applied to your teeth, it is fine and gives good coverage.I generally brush as normal for two minutes or so and then leave it for another minute or two before rinsing - the instructions recommend you leave it for three minutes for further reminerilizing. After a month, my teeth are a number of shades whiter and believe that this is due to the activated charcoal. I also go a stage further and pull with organic cold pressed coconut oil. Add to this tongue brushing and daily flossing and my teeth, tongue and gum health is better than ever.This is really great toothpaste and its organic too. I really like it and can't imagine not using it now.

I really like using this product. I was worried I wasn't going to like the texture or taste but I was pleasantly surprised. The toothpaste doesn't foam and has a thicker texture but I didn't find it unpleasant and it was easy to adjust to. The taste was little strange at first it isn't sweet like normal toothpaste and is a bit earthy but the spearmint comes through really well and leaves your breath fresh. Again it was very easy to get use to the flavour and now my family and I quite like it compared to the sweetness of conventional brands. Our teeth and gums have also never felt cleaner and people have commented on how much healthier and whiter they look. I would really recommend giving this a try, it is an environmentally friendly option that really competes with your regular brand toothpaste.

All toothpaste tastes disgusting, that is my theory, You just get used to the one that you are using and then it does not seem so bad. This toothpaste is blander than most and on first try I thought it pretty foul, but true to form, after 7 days use I thought it tasted ok, I have aclimatised to it.So now I have the taste issue out the way, and lets face it, no-one brushes their teeth because it tastes nice. I changed to this toothpaste becuse I wanted to cut down on plastic use. This came in plastic free packaging so that box has been ticked.It is also flouride free. This worried me a little because I know flouride plays a role in preventing decay, but also I have some non specific idea that flouride might be bad for me in some way, I have to say this was not a major concern of mine and was not why a selected this toothpaste.I have found that my teeth feel nice and clean after brushing, just as they do with regular toothpaste, and that I have had less gingivitis than I would usually. The reduction in gingivitis happened within the first few days of changing over so it is possible that there was some ingerdient in my previous toothpaste that caused the gum inflamation. Clearly this is one persons experiance and not an evidence base - if you suffer form gingivitis the go see a dentist - don't take ramdom advice on the internet. Anyway my teeth are as clean and my gums are even more healthy than before so I can't complain.The texture of this toothpaste is claggier than a standard tooth paste. I found the most efficent way to apply was to spread it on my teeth with my finger and then brush it off, I found it harder, but not impossible, to get an even spread with the brush.

I like the Georganics range and have used the toothpowder for some time but it only comes in peppermint flavour and I wanted to try spearmint. I purchased this item in spearmint flavour, thinking it was toothpowder but it is in fact toothpaste, which I like a lot less. It was probably my fault for not reading the description carefully but I thought I would drop a note here to raise awareness that this item is a toothpaste, not a toothpowder! It works fine, cleans my teeth well, and I have no complaint about the product except that I don't like having to scoop tiny amounts of toothpaste from the jar - I find toothpowder more convenient.

Great product, i have used for a few years takes a bit of getting used to at first but get good results dentist always says your teeth are nice and clean. Price a little more than normal toothpaste but it goes along way and lasts longer.

I tried to get past the taste and texture. Both admittedly improved after an initial few seconds of brushing and hence mixing with saliva. After a couple of days however I binned the jar as the toothpaste just looked so dry and unappealing. Perhaps I had a dodgy jar? It was like brushing my teeth with ground up Rennies. I've gone back to the brand I was using before and will not repurchase.

Such a great product we all love, great results, packaging fully recyclable, no nasty chemicals, vegan friendly....
