OSRAM DIADEM CHROME Indicator light WY5W 2827DC-02B nearly invisible when turned off in double blister

Replacement for my front indicator bulbs , so now the don’t look like fried eggs, very easy to install and they have and are working fine since installing them bulb is silver but lights up amber , all in all a very good quality bulb

These bulbs are a big cosmetic improvement to the OEM amber indicator bulbs. The amber can only be seen if you look very closely through the indicator lense but most importantly they emit very even and clear and bright amber colour when powered. Buying some more soon for the emergency bulb kit.

I have been using these bulbs to replace the original front turning indicator bulbs for well over two years now. As shown in the pictures I took after this period with regular driving, the bulbs are still looking and doing what they should and are still going strong: The front signal indicators are indeed in silver/chrome when off and they shine with clear amber light when on even during the daytime. These bulbs well preserve the cosmetic beauty from the OEM bulbs of similar appearance, if not doing better. Therefore, I am very happy to recommend these high quality bulbs if they can fit your car.

Very well made product. Chrome effect coating makes it almost invisible under clear lenses and is true silver rather than the slight blue of cheaper products. There is a slight orange tinge in the reflector when fitted but you really have to look for it so I am happy. The orange colour is brighter than the old bulb and looks very good. I think cheap bulbs are a false economy so 5 stars rating from me despite the relatively high price. The back of the bubble packaging says the life of the bulb is LESS than a standard bulb which is directly opposite to what the Amazon description says, so I have given it an "average" score of 3. However, I don't want the hassle of returning the bulb and it is clearly well made so I am keeping it.

Used these for years and no issues. Nice and bright. The fact they're not orange is great as they get rid of the fried egg look you get with orange bulbs and white lenses 🍳

A nice cosmetic upgrade if you have clear lenses and don't wish to have an amber-coloured bulb on show. When not illuminated, the bulb is simply silver or chrome in colour but under power it turns amber. Compared to a high-quality amber-coloured bulb the diadem chrome type can seem slightly pail by comparison but this is to be expected and not a problem - as the majority of folk can likely not even tell.

Excellent product with usual Osram quality and performance. Eliminates the yellow 'fried egg' appearance of standard bulbs but are possibly brighter and definitely more modern looking. Expensive though.

Bulbs seem brighter than the ones replaced, with the added benefit of not looking like something manufactured in 1932. The bulbs are chrome unless in direct sunlight, I've added a picture of both the front (facing the sun) and the rear so you can get a good idea of this.
