Fit Between LH and RH Assemblies Noticeably Off
The quality of the product was fine – however, upon installation it was apparent that the LH assembly and the RH assembly were not symmetrical. The RH tip of the RH assembly was (noticeably) lower than the tips of the LH assembly. I checked with a spacer block between the tips and the opening in rear of the vehicle and it was indeed a bit lower (somewhere between 1/8” and 3/16” off). I couldn’t say whether this was a QAQC issue with the manufacturer or perhaps it was just this particular pair of tips. In an event, from the rear of the car it was definitely noticeable. Maybe a bit finicky on my part – but this is a $100k vehicle and I want it to look right.
