Beautiful Watch.!!!
As soon as I saw this watch in the Prime lightening deals I was extremely attracted to it. The huge discount did give me a cause for concern so I researched the company and the company website and I was satisfied that Henry Jay are legitimately trying to corner a piece of the highly competitive luxury watch market. Before purchasing, I also read the customer reviews and I am surprised to read some of the negative reviews. Some of the issues customers have had I wanted to set the record straight on by explaining my experience on receiving this classy watch. Firstly, the watch I received, has not lost any time what so ever, it arrived in a beautiful box and had the manufacturing item number as well as a card of authenticity. After nearly 2 weeks and the watch hasn't lost a single second of time. Secondly, my month dial works fine. Once setup properly, the month dial is working perfectly. Lastly, the some reviewers have gone on record and started that the watch doesn't illuminate when dark. Obviously as the watch has been packed away in a darkened box for days/weeks/months etc, the luminous parts haven't had enough light for the parts to illuminate. During the first night, my watch was not lit up at all. I then shone an LED torch onto the watch face for around 60 seconds, and the watch lit up like a Christmas tree. With the proper watch tools, I was easily able to take out the extra links I didn't need. So to sum up I am really pleased with this watch, it feels heavy to hold and you can really tell that the watch has been hand crafted to a high degree of excellence. Recommended!!!

Great product
Hi, I don,t do many reviews but I thought this item deserves it. I bought both the all gold and blue faced bi-metal watches together as I collect watches, put simply I cannot fault either watch. They are stunning to look at, hold, and wear. When I received the watches I set them both to my iPad clock which is correct time, one month on they are both to the second. My only regret is I did not get the slightly more expensive version with sweeping hand then it would really be difficult to distinguish from a really expensive watch. Great buy, I will be buying more watches from this manufacturer.

A very nice watch
The watch looks great and keeps excellent time and if the headline price (rather than the discounted one) is to be believed it is an absolute bargain. The only issue I've had in 8 months and which is preventing the 5th star was the bezel ring falling off in the airport a couple of weeks ago - no idea why. Fortunately that and the retaining clip were found and I was able to snap it back together with no further issues since.

Hope for the best, expect the worst, then be VERY pleasantly surprised.
I debated over a 5-star rating, as I've not had it long enough to determine how accurate it is at keeping time; however, I went with 5 in the end as even if does gain or lose quickly, I can forgive this watch an awful lot. I bought it in on Prime Day for £49.99, on the basis that it looked good and £50 wasn't too much of a punt, even if it didn't look as good as it did in the photos. You can buy this watch as I did, hoping for something decent, but with a nagging suspicion that it might not be very good, because of the price. Then it turned up. Wow. I was really surprised by the quality, from the box to the watch itself. Everything felt good and solid, the watch was secured around a soft, velvet pillow in a solid, leather-effect (?, don't think it's actual leather) box, with clear, protective film over the watch face, rear and even the strap. The watch itself looks like the photos, I was expecting it to maybe look a bit cheap, with maybe some machining marks, particularly on the strap, but no. It all looks very well made, no scratches or gaps in how it all fits together. The watch is heavy and feels solid; as well as the fold-over clasp-lock the strap has the push-in side releases on the clasp as well, something my TAG Heuer lacks, and which makes the whole business of opening the watch far easier. The strap links are even marked on the inside with the pin-removal arrows, which was handy as I needed to take out a link to get it to fit properly - my wrist is about 8" where the watch sits, so the strap is a decent length. Colours are bright and regular, and the bezel clicks satisfactorily on the way round, although the action doesn't feel as precise as my other watches with rotating bezels (the TAG again, and a Luminox diver's watch - where you'd expect the bezel to be good!). The crown screws down but, if I have one complaint, the two-position (date and time) adjustment is a bit imprecise and I had to pull it all the way out to the time setting before pusing it back in a bit to find the date adjustment. Overall, very impressed, I think the standard price for this watch is £69.99, and I'd say it's exceptionally good value even at that higher price. At £49.99 I'd call it a steal.

Looks great but is very bad value for the money
Functions well, had no instructions but ok if you know you have to set the time then wind the winder until its right otherwise sticks out and is not waterproof. Ok in the shower but not had a chance to test swimming yet. Now has the watch since March and had the pins replaced 3 times, even had to have a new piece inserted as the other got list when rhe pin dropped out. Was swimming every day no problem in the summer and wear almost 24/7. The blue diving dial has now dropped off and the metal ring i assume was holding this in place has disappeared. I do not have any known allergies but have now developed a sore uner the watch and notice the underside at the exterior edges are going rusty and im no longer able to wear it. For a watch just short of £80 i am extremely disappointed. The watch repairer i saw told me it was Chinese junk. I cant recall the warranty so am not sure if i can return it, sooooo disappointed as loved the watch.
