Good item
Good value for money and very easy to fit. Unfortunately is doesn't give us any signal still on our DAB radio. Its just not strong enough for where we are we think. Our unit is set in place and not portable so we can't try it anywhere else in the house. Not to worry it was worth a try.

Great, much better reception on my Tivoli 1 Radio
Bought this as a neat solution for an external aerial for my Tivoli 1 Clock Radio. easy to install and works very well, pulling in a better signal on BBC world service FM over night

Not as good as first thought
Very nice quality telescopic aerial not too long but quite thick and sturdy fits my new Denon d-m41 mini hi fi system absolutely perfectly and worked fine BIG BUT i decided to move my receiver to different part of the room resulting in NO signal whatsoever so this aerial became of no use at all which is a shame because its a neat little unit. I've now bought a magnetic bingfu retractable 79mm with 3m cable, phew at last signal strength 8 on all my favourite dab radio stations. Do yourself a favour and buy one of these in the first place.

No or limited DAB or FM reception ? - Resolved in Style.
Got this DAB/FM initially to improve DAB/FM radio reception on a Logik soundstage. The soundstage has a "F" type screw on connector (I no technie but same as an (old?) SKY or CATV co-ax cable connection from source to box here in the UK. Before getting this aerial FM /DAB radio reception was almost no existant. Dispite the unit been located in a back room and also a large silver birch tree outside blocking the line of sight to the local transmitter some 20 miles again have picked up (after retuning) over strong 40 DAB and 15 FM stations - pretty much the full allocation in this part of eastern England. Great value for money and so much better than Logik's supplied wire T wired aerial.Currently using the aerial on a newly purchased Yamaha CRX470D CD Network receiver (also with F type connection) which is in a different room but even near to the silver birch tree. Again same very good results as above, The Yamaha's T wire cable could not pick up anything at all !The aerial is quite neat and by and large can be retracted without hindering both DAB & FM reception.Hint - to reduce interference keep away from speaker cables.Recommend this product.

OK replacement
Used to replace a bent aerial on a Roberts DAB radio. Had to purchase a box spanner to access the securing nut. This aerial was shorter than the original, so it folds down behind the radio OK but is not aesthetically ideal as a replacement. It is functional but certainly no improvement on the original's signal.

Works perfectly!
Crackin' little product! Works perfectly and has allowed me to remove the silly and unsightly wire aerial my audio unit was sold with. I haven't even had to extend this and it was easy to install.

Flimsy and Ineffective except for cats
My new DAB+ radio came with a plastic wire for an aerial. "That's gonna be awful, I'll buy a telescopic one". When it arrives I actually bit the aerial. It looks so thin and cheap I honestly thought it was some type of plastic but no it is metal.I'm not sure it extends to the length advertised so now I understand how many women feel (except my wife of course). After screwing it into my JVC stereo (the aerial) I was shocked to see the signal strength and quality drop. I can confirm the cheap wire aerial that comes with a stereo is better than this.I even bought a f type splitter so I could connect multiple aerials and the cheap wire that came with the stereo was better by itself than any combination involving this. However I have found another use for this expensive piece of tat. My cat is called Punch. He's a rescue cat from the RSPCA. He's 8 years old. When the aerial is fully extended, he loves play fighting and biting the tip. I like to pretend I'm fencing. So yeah... Don't buy this for using your radio. Use it to combat your cat.En guard!
