Do i need to buy a precision cutting plate to cut tattered lace dies with this machine?

Hi Josie, the A4 Big Shot comes with all the plates needed to cut Tattered Lace and all the different dies you may have. I have a wide selection of dies and I haven't come across one yet that hadn't cut and the beauty of the A4 is that you can rotate your dies to get a good cut. I have had my machine a few months now and haven't had to shim once. Hope my reply helps.

Is it usual for the clear cutting plate to bend after being run through? Used mine for the first time today, correct adapter, order etc?

I see there is a starter package. Is that this item plus dies,embossing folders and card? Does this item have an instruction manual?

Hi Helen.Yes that is correct. It is listed as a separate item the Sizzix Big Shot Plus starter kit at £140. In addition to all the extras we also supply a rubber embossing mat which does not come as standard. The machine also comes with instructions. Do I just have to use sizzex embossing folders as my big shot+ has just arrived & my A4 tonic studios folder & spellbinders will not pass through?
