Simoniz SAPP0089A Alloy Wheel Cleaner 500ml

Corroded and wrecked all 4 wheels -- don't buy !!! I am taking them to small claims court and trading standards.All the brown marks/discolouration is caused by the product.... Run People Run !!!!

Unfortunately I'm not able to comment on the efficacy of the products as I wasn't able to use it. What I can say is that the bottle and trigger spray are cheap and tacky as mine broke after the first squirt.Edit: Having decanted the contents into another spray bottle I didn't find it to be a very effective cleaner at all, it didn't penetrate the grime and no dirt started dripping off the wheel. Certainly no more effective than my usual standby of car shampoo diluted 50/50 with water. So for me it's a poor value purchase.

Not as good as Trinova Wheel Cleaning Gel, but as it is 'Currently unavailable' this will do. Certainly not as powerful as the aforementioned but then maybe that is a good thing for more sensitive alloys.

A very good alloy cleaner. I left it for a few minutes and while I was washing the car with the sponge, I washed the wheels last and they were super shiny after that. Really good product for a good price. Don't know if it works that well without the use of sponge like for example power wash, but I'd say it would do the job nonetheless.

Its relatively cheap and very easy to spray on. To get the best results you need to be able to agitate the surfaces to be cleaned using a brush, this may require moving the car to expose more of the cleaning area.

Good for cutting through years of brake dust and grime. A decent coverage on 5 wheels though and I had run out. Would have liked to have gone further.Ok finish afterwards but not wow’d

Bought this to see if could restore my wife's 7 year old Ford Focus alloys. Sprayed on and left for a couple of mins. Used a wheel brush and rinsed off. Wow was not expecting such a impressive first use result. First times wheels have had any treatment on them and they came up shiney and almost as good as new.

Really good product that does break down the dirt well and gives a good shine. Not quite 5 stars as i have used better products but good for the price. Would recommend.
