A Forever Toy Worth Every Penny
Dislike nothing about these, they are the most played with toy - either on their own for all sorts of builds or even alongside other toys e.g. making a parking garage for cars, tunnels for trains or a rocket for little figures. They take a lot of beating: accidentally stood on, dropped down the stairs etc and are still together. One or two have finally been scratched but that's the exception not the rule, so high quality. Magnets are strong enough that if you stack a few plates together you can pinch your skin but the answer is doing do that again, three year old copes fine. Colours are magic too, great toy.

Brilliant toy, loads of play time
EDIT: I have changed my rating to 5 stars because it is an amazing toy and brings loads of play time despite the plastic getting scratched easily which I suppose is understandable considering it is a clear plastic. The one thing that shocked me 6 months later is price inflation. We bough this at 29.99 and now it is listed for nearly a double. I love the toy, it has given my 2 year old toddler hours of play and he's still not bored of them 3 months later although considering the price which is not cheap and the fact that these are magnetic building blocks and they are designed to be joined and seperated constantly, the plastic gets scratched very easily. The set itself is quite small for the price as well. I can see us buying more pieces in the future to expand the set, hopefully the plastic will improve by then.

Good value and quality close to connetix
They're compatible with connetix but significantly better value, just as sturdy, and (unlike some alternatives) the magnets are similar strength, so a good way to build up or supplement a collection.

Bought to add to existing collection.
Excellent product. My children (4 & 7) love playing with this. It is so versatile and the magnets are very strong. I think this will be a fantastic investment!

Fun, durable
Bought for my sons who are 18 months and 4 years old. They both enjoy them and we have played with them fairly regularly since they were given them 2 weeks ago. Not as amazingly creative as some reviews gushed (they can do far more with their duplo) but its another thing to play with and I like toys that spark imagination better than toys that do one prescribed thing. Quality fairly good, none have come apart or broken so far and my kids are rough with them! The box says 6 free clickins which there aren't but the description didn't claim this so it is as described.....just hope they aren't fakes! Possibly factory seconds or wrong packaging or something- why else would they be cheaper than anywhere else?! My boys do enjoy Geomags better as they are strong magnetic sticks and they run around the house testing what magnets stick to and what they don't so from a scientific point of view they are more educational but the solid ball bearings make them riskier for the little one which is why I got the playmags. All in all, I'm happy I got them. The 50 piece set has been enough for us, I'm not sure I'll add to it and am glad I didn't fork out on the 150 piece set tbh.

Great
We have both Magnatiles and Playmags bought 3 or 4 years ago. They are still one of my children’s favorite toys. The magnetic feature in both is good and very similar. The playmags seem to be made of a more scratch resistant plastic so years later, the playmag tiles kept their vibrant colours better and look newer than the Magnatiles. They are better value for money as well. No need to pay extra really this are great.

Great product!
My girls (3 & 4) really enjoy these. I would say the amount you can build is quite limited with this set, so I did end up buying a 150 piece set too. Would recommend though, good quality and keeps them entertained for long periods of time! I also quite enjoy building with them too!

I bought this set for the second time as an addition to the set I gave my little nephew for his birthday last year. He likes it a lot and plays with it all the time -or so I'm told. I tried the Playmags myself before wrapping it up as a present, and was gripped by the versatility of both the magnetic connections as well as the geometric possibilities. Almost bought myself a set, but the loud colours did put me off the idea. Also these magnetic building blocks sets aren't exactly cheap, but this 50-piece set seemed to offer the most bang for the buck.
