Compact kitchen knife sharpener that works
Excellent, easy to use,practical knife sharpener. Sharpens knives I gave up on. Use it at work,easy to store. It does get warm so follow instructions.

Good but not for smaller knifes
Bought it last week as I was tired from blunt knifes in our kitchen and all handheld sharpeners let me down. Good sharpener but be careful with smaller knifes as the stone is too far from the edge. As you can see on images, it leaves circa 1 cm gap and sharpening from there. Think that is the matter of the machine design.Chef knife all other big ones are fine. Not sure how long they last, time will tell.The "firework" and dust are just feature, nothing to worry about.

Great little sharpener!
Read some write ups on this sharpener before buying. Some said it was noisy, take that with a pinch of salt. Some also said the instructions made it tricky to use. Codswallop! It’s a cute little electric sharpener, and very affective. Admittedly I haven’t used the screwdriver slot, not that I’m ever likely to want to sharpen screwdrivers!

Sharp Results
In the past I have bought several manual knife sharpeners and I can honestly say that I havent been impressed. However this does the job perfectly. Very sharp results. It's now a pleasure to prep food again.

Good for the price.
Seems pretty good for very little money? Did a good job on my Japanese carving knife. Not so good on scissors that don't open fully, or maybe I'm doing something wrong? The edge maybe slightly too rough for some? Personally I still smooth off blades with a sharpening steel.
