I wasn't sure how good these bits would be given their reasonable price. Only used once so far for a small DIY job drilling 12 holes into solid brick wall and into some of the internal blocks which are solid like cinder blocks which use waste from coal power plants, that are very strong and give off a black dust when drilled into. They're responsible for blocking a lot of radio waves like WiFi. It was really surprising no damage at all was done to the drill bit with no sign of wear whatsoever. I was able to drill through the plaster and into the brick work with ease and when using hammer drill for the cinder block material of internal wall also was easy enough to go into. With lower quality bits they usually show some wear when drilling into these solid walls. Based on my limited use and experience with these I highly recommend them. Draper are a high quality high value brand which I've been shown time and time again that I can rely on to get the job done. I really appreciate the drill bit storage case, it feels and looks nice and is strong, the opening is a slider then the lid simply lifts and the strength is durable with good quality build material and design, so these drill bits dont come in your usual flimsy hard cheap plastic cases that breaks as soon as you look at it which even some high end brand names provide. Everything about this is great quality in my opinion and will serve me fine for my DIY purposes for many years to come. I actually think these could be just as good if not better than many low end diamond coated ones. Well worth the money and highly recommended!

This is a good product

Bought this 10mm drill bit as part of a set to put up an oak beam above my radiator. The 10mm drill bit, however, did not panic. Went through brick like it had a point to prove, stayed straight, didn’t overheat, and didn’t snap at the exact moment I questioned all my life choices. Oak beam is up. Radiator still works. House remains standing. Would trust this bit again with my confidence and my wall.

The case lock was very loose and 3 sizes of the same drill bit haven't tested its durability but looks suspect.....
