Probably the best fitting rucksack I've ever had. Two years later, still is.
Initial review (Nov 2015): Probably the best fitting rucksack I've ever had (and I've had others more expensive than this one). Replaces my similar sized previous day-to-day pack. Carrying the same items, feels lighter - more than likely due to the better fit. Not taken it anywhere to assess how the back channel helps with sweat, but so far the contour provides an excellent fit. Update (Feb 2018): Having a myriad of specific purpose bags, I also wanted a bag to cover most events. Indeed over the past 2 years the Berghaus 30L 24/7 has been a great choice for me. Summary: Great load capacity without looking bulky empty or full. Its a master for city, beach and outdoor walk days. Competent go to work bag. Surprisingly adaptable for photography. Proven robust from its great condition (still near new look). If you want to read the details: Used daily since I got it: work, planes (fits bottom compartment loaded), on holiday, to the beach, to hills, camping, photography. I’ve also used it to transport a 17” laptop beast in the past, though not in the laptop pouch. Just squeezes in the bag height-wise. For work mode, laptop on laptop slot, extra coat/food on back area, and extras/music gear on front section. The laptop slot at the bottom has a gap of 4cm or so to the floor to help prevent the laptop hitting surfaces every time you put the bag down. Works very well. Out for the day mode, often with camera gear. Where I think birding opportunities or long distance shots are expected, that includes a large tele-lens where the depth of the back compartment just fits the camera with lens+hood attached). Other lenses go next to it (in neoprene individual bags), and an outdoors coat for rain. All in the back section. The front pocket then used for food mainly. I’ve got other tog bags, depending what I’m doing so choosing this frequently says a lot. For general outdoors and city its similar, minus carrying a long lens :) In all, I’ve found it brilliant for an all day with the family as a great medium size, not bulky, very comfortable and adjustable. Also very importantly not shouting to all on the occasions when carrying expensive equipment in the bag! (Whether work or photography) Seriously considering buying another as a reserve.

Great day pack, comfortable, good moisture control, versatile
A great day pack, just the right size to hold the necessities for a day hike. The pouch inside fits my BTR Double Thick 2 Litre Hydration Pack Bladder - Suitable for Cycling, Hiking, Running, Camping, Walking. BPA Free perfectly, and the hose fits well through the generous hydration tube opening. The outer bottle pockets can fit quite a chunky bottle (like a large 1.5L bottle of Highland Spring etc), without being too big for a standard plastic bottle. There are no zipped pockets inside, which is a shame, but there are a variety of small pockets within the front opening, and a plastic carabiner, useful for securing your keys. The main compartment has only the pouch for a hydration pack or laptop. There is an adjustable chest/sternum strap, which slides/adjusts vertically & horizontally, but no waist strap. Compared to the rest of the 24/Seven range, it has a much better set of storage pockets, and I visually inspected the whole range. It fits into a 55cm wheeled luggage trolley, which was important for me for travelling abroad. All the zips and seams appear to be quite secure, and the main compartment zip is covered by a flap to prevent the ingress of moisture The flow system works reasonably well, though it works best in conjunction with the chest strap, as it raises the pack off your back a little. Used in combination with a Berghaus tech wicking shirt, it really reduces sweating, though it doesn't eliminate it all together. It's not as effective as something like the Vango Ventis, which has a mini 'frame' to hold the pack away from your back, but this comes at the expense of increased size and weight, and it was too big to fit in my hand luggage. Very pleased with it overall, just the right size for a day hike, and very comfortable to wear. With judicious packing it can be used for an overnight trip. I can fit my small Naturehike tent and gear inside, and rolled sleeping mat in the bungee straps. Edit: noticed today there is a little Velcro loop where the H2O inlet comes in, so you can hang the bladder/position the tube. There is also a securing loop on the front strap, to stop the drinking tube from wandering. Edit 2: A few months on, and many hikes later, proving to be a really good rucksack. The elasticated cords are good for keeping items handy, like rain jackets, and hiking poles. Edit 3: Added some photos. (2 nights pack) tent, sleep pad, sleeping bag, 2 days food, 2 litres water, 15 L dry bag, rain coat, down jacket, change clothes, toiletries and electronics. weight 8kg inc 2 L water

Great back pack for everyday use
Great backpack. I bought it in 2021 and it’s still going strong 4 years later. It’s durable with thick comfortable straps. Used as an everyday back pack to carry shopping so has been put through its paces in terms of the weight it can carry. Great value for money. I would definitely repurchase.

I got this exact backpack as a gift in 8 years ago and loved its versatility. It's perfect for hiking, gym clothes, or even as a carry-on luggage piece on an airplane. It has plenty of pockets and zippers to keep everything organized and neatly in place. After 8 years, my old one had seen better days, so I decided to get a new one of the exact same model. Have had it for a month now and I can say it's as good as it's always been.

Ottimo. Materiale resistente. Carino anello portachiavi. Cordine esterne per legare/portare oggetti tipo indumenti o bacchette trekking o altro. Infine 2 tasche esterne aperte porta bottiglia. Amazon eccellente come sempre per tempi e imballo. Grandi!

I’m keen on Berghaus products and my last backpack from berghaus is still in normal condition, even after 8 years of daily use. As I can see this product is great as well and quality the same. Recommend to anyone who looks for a daily backpack.
