This is a fantastic quality cleaning aid, easy to use just dilute, kind to skin but the smell is not great but I would recommend this item.

Excellent, pure product with superior rinsability, and it cleans stuff very well.I use it for lots of things (handwash, shower gel etc) but I most see how fantastic it is when I use it to clean my makeup brushes: it gets rid of all the make up really easily, and then it rinses clean out of the brushes really easily, leaving them with zero residue and zero scent on them.

I like the consistency of this a lot. Compared to something like Dr. Bronners, this soap is thicker and more like something you'd find in a pump bottle. The quantity is great and the green bottle is actually pretty attractive. You can remove the label, so I'll probably repurpose it.I use this to wash my body and my dishes. A small bit lathers up decently and definitely gets me clean. It has a slight earthy scent that totally dissapears once you rinse. Nothing that lingers and you can barely smell it anyway.For the quantity the price is really good. I'm happy with it and will be ordering again.

Update 6 weeks later:Skin is still amazing. Have had no more itching and rash since using this soap. Will not go back to anything else. So relieved it helped so quickly. I’m also no longer having to moisturise after every wash which is amazing.Can not recommend enough.Original review.I don’t usually write product reviews quickly, because I like to see how the product works long term.In the case of this soap I cannot deny the results.It took week. Almost a week and a half later and I can say I have very happy, itch free hands.I work as a nanny. I am forever washing my hands in a normal situation, but the current one has made my hand washing triple. Normally my hands get bad in winter because they dry out, but with all the hand washing they have gone from okay to horrible in the space of a couple of weeks.I’ve tried lots of options, and am opposed to using chemist creams or steroids to treat it, and I’m finding normal soap is destroying them.This soap has been a life saver. It bubbles up well and leaves my hands feeling clean. It does have a different feel to standard liquid soap, but you get used to it.My hands went for red, dry, cracking, bleeding and itchy, to clear and smooth and itch free again.I am so relieved. My routine has forever changed.This soap has been a life saver for me.Yes it does smell, but I don’t think it’s as bad as it can be and I really don’t care because my hands don’t hurt.I have eczema and sensitive skin, and I have had no issues with it.The one thing I will clarify is I have used this in conjunction with Balmonds Skin Salvation 60ml 100% Natural Ointment For Babies, Children and Adults Prone to Eczema, Psoriasis and Dermatitis, and using warm water instead of hot. I think the three options together have truly made the different. So, personally I don’t think this soap alone would have helped. That’s just me though. I am aware I will probably have to keep this routine up to keep it at bay, but I’m happy to keep paying for it for normal hands.Apologises for the photos, it’s hard to get the idea of what they are like and I took the recent one with cream on, which probably doesn’t show what they look like 100%

I love Castile soap and I love Naissance. I got this on sale at £7.99 - bargain! So it was cheaper than the other cheaper imitation Castile soaps that I usually get. It's lovely and thick and if you get a bit on a Japanese buffing cloth it actually foams up a treat so you can do your whole body with just a little bit.The only thing is that it really could do with a better lid, either a press up lid or a pump would be a lot better design wise in using the product. As it is you need to unscrew the lid to pour the product into your hand and as it's such a large bottle it can lead to wastage as too much tends to come out if you're not careful. Hopefully Naissance read the reviews and amend!

This is a beautiful, silky and mild castile soap!Delightfully light and fresh smell (I'm used to non-fragranced products and the natural smell of this is clear and soapy, nothing more).Great value and a little goes a very long way. I am prone to contact dermatitis on my hands and this soap cleared it within 48 hours. No hand creams nothing. Just washing with this castile soap over the eczema areas instead of regular eco hand soaps.As a user of Dr. Bronners castile for many years, I was looking for alternatives. Not only due to cost but also import emissions and the fact they use palm oil.Wish I'd found this Naissance version years ago!! It's truly lovely.Great for hands, cleans floors, gets blood out of cloth sanitary pads. Works in hard water areas.Not so great on hair in hard water areas as can leave residue but it's still a must have in my home / personal care arsenal.

I use it on daily basis for my whole family. This is the best castile soap for the great price. I have tried other ones cheaper brands but now just stick to this brand as it seems more pleasant in smell. I dilute a bit with water and add essential oil. My hands are never dry out as normally would be from supermarket soap. And my husband has very sensitive skin, he is only using Castile soap and is very happy as it helps his allergy stay controlled.
