GiGi No Bump Tropical Solution, Liquid for Hair Removal 118ml

Excellent product, have used this for more than 6 months and has been great at preventing ingrowns after hair removal. It does sting but that’s due to the alcohol in the product. Great price and packaged well too, would recommend highly.

I had the perfect solution to prevent ingrown hair. Unfortunately, that is not available anymore. After researching, I decided to try this solution.I always prefer more eco-friendly solutions, like gels that do not require a cotton pad to apply the solution; they also intend to last longer.The solution is liquid that requires a cotton pad or similar to apply. GiGi No Bump Tropical Solution does not last long if used on the larger skin area. The downside of the solution is that these are ingredients with the suggestion that can affect potential pregnant women's foetus and light burn after applying the solution on a depilated sensitive area.The solution works, no ingrown hair, but I will look for something better with more comfort due to mentioned side effects and unnecessary risk.

After reading the reviews here - & being sick of having to scrub at my face every day - thought I'd give this a try. I'm really glad I did! I've only been using it about a week now, but it really seems to be working & I don't have the hassle & redness associated with daily exfoliation. I can apply it any time of day because no redness means no down-time. As others have commented, the smell is hardly to die for.........it's basically the smell of isopropyl alcohol, the main ingredient (yep, the stuff you clean your CDs with!!) But within seconds it's evaporated so there's no lingering odour. One word of warning which I don't think was clear on the listing - it can't be used if you're allergic to aspirin as it contains salicylic acid. I was worried that the combination of isopropyl alcohol and salicylic acid was going to be really brutal, but not at all. My skin feels tight for a few seconds immediately after application, but then feels smooth, comfortable and well-moisturised for the rest of the day. I haven't got particularly sensitive skin so I can't comment on how it would suit those who do, but it's certainly a lot gentler than other products I've used containing salicylic acid. A little really does go a long way, so it works out to be really good value. Instructions say to apply with fingertips or cotton wool - I use fingertips because I don't want to waste a whole load soaking into the cotton wool. Well worth a try if you're plagued with ingrowing hair........or, like me, fed up of having to exfoliate every day to avoid them.

I wanted to give 4 stars for how well this product works. It's comparable, for me, to nads Ingrow gel. But what I dislike is this:1. The smell is so strong. I know the active ingredients make it that way but other products I've used have managed to lessen the smell. It's the sort that stings your nose. 2. How watery the consistency is. It's like rubbing nail varnish remover on yourself. You can't just pour it on or pour into your hands as it is literally the consistency of water. The package suggests using a cotton bud or similar to dab on, but I hate that inevitably product is absorbed and therefore wasted every time. For me, a cream, oil or gel consistency is much better because every last drop of product can be applied.

Great product, does what it says

Bikini area. After shaving needed to calme+ reduce redness no bumps did this almost as soon as I used it, bottle rather small but smell was great+ my sensitive skin was no more.

Have you ever wanted to put acid on your frou frou whilst simultaneously risking the life of your firstborn child? Then this is the solution for you! If, however, that's not the case then you should probably steer well clear of GiGi No Bump Topical Solution. 'This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.' as it says on the bottle. It's also flammable! And it smells like a spill in the chemistry lab! If Satan made a product, it would probably be this.In conclusion, hell no.

As said in the title, this bottle does what it's meant to do. I also agree with other buyers who have commented on the usage; it feels as if you're using a lot each time when in fact you've used less than you realise.For me it lasts for months at a time and for the price it's brilliant. I noticed that if you put it on a few days before you shave the area you get better results alongside using it a few minutes after (to reduce the stinging sensation). Delivery was good. Only reason why it's a four and not a five is that it smells very strongly of nail polish remover but it's not a major issue as once it's dried, the smell isn't that bad.
