WMF Barista 636646040 Honey/Syrup Dispenser, Silver

I wanted a honey dispenser which didn't leave a sticky mess after each use.. I got it! Expensive though. Also honey is very viscous so it takes a while to pour, but it comes out nice and thin, perfect for cheese or yoghurt.

We use it for Honey that we brought back from Greece. It works perfectly, even with the Honey being fairly cold and sticky, the mechanism shuts off the honey-stream with no drips. No more sticky jars or spoons, I just drizzle the honey straight onto my toast or yoghurt.

Looks nice but just does not work. The rubber seal is impossible to fit with the lid on and despite many tries the honey leaks down the side of the pot making a mess. My advice is not to waste your money.

Looks a nicely made product but I bought it to use with golden syrup (for my porridge) rather than honey. Maybe it wasn't designed for golden syrup because it is too viscous and consequently takes ages to pour through the relatively small opening. What I have to do therefore is remove the metal lid, microwave the golden syrup within the glass base for 10 seconds or so which thins the golden syrup and it then pours beautifully. But removing the lid each time is a bit of a pain and is inclined to be a messy/sticky process.

Good quality stuff to go with your daily honey dose........

Its a bit more expensive but it looks classy and it doesnt drip at all, brilliant..

Great quality product - I’m using it for maple syrup (lower viscosity than honey) and the pourer needs a little wipe after use. My opinion is that we’re it honey it would probably ‘cut’ the flow off better.

Honey drips all down one side. I’m sure it’s fine if you use it irregularly but we drink honey in tea every day The lever that cuts off the flow of honey leaves honey on the top of the mechanism that then drips down the side of the dispenser. The quality is good, looks great but the design is completely flawed. Big shame :(

Happy with the purchase & was exactly what I was expecting

The dispenser cuts the flow off and there is no following drip dribbling down the side! It holds more than the typical dispensers I have used in the past...perhaps only 2 or 3 ounces, but it is also an advantage. Another thing I love about this is the wide mouth that greatly facilitates filling it. It even comes with a spare gasket where the top joins the glass bottom. The glass jar itself is not flimsy and creates a feeling of confidence for durability. I also think this dispenser would work wonderfully for pancake syrup!

Decent quality but still messy. Chromed parts feel a bit cheap but better then plastic. Not totally drip free so still some mess.

Excelente calidad del producto. La parte superior es todo de metal lo cual lo hace resistente y duradero. Vaso de cristal y buen tamaño en el recipiente. Tal vez más caro pero lo vale por su calidad

Nach all den schlechten Rezensionen war ich wirklich verunsichert dieses Produkt zu kaufen! WMF hat mach jedoch selten enttäuscht, so dachte ich...was soll’s...Leben am Limit...mal was riskieren 😅 Und was soll ich sagen: ich bin begeistert und unsere ganze Familie (5 Personen) liebt unseren neuen Frühstücksbegleiter. Der Honigspender ist von einer tollen Qualität, sieht super aus und wenn man daran denkt, dass er HONIG beinhaltet/spenden soll und ihn dem entsprechend handhabt ist das Ding Genial! Es tropft nicht, es kleckert nix raus, die Lagerfläche bleibt Honigfrei. Also Rund um super. Ich denke viele negative Bewertungen kommen durch falsche Vorstellungen und fehlerhafte Anwendung! Man hantiert hier mit HONIG, dass man den Fluß nicht einfach unterbrechen kann, sollte doch jedem Bewusst sein! Öffnen-Kippen- Honig heraus laufen lassen-leicht zurück kippen-der Honig fließt langsamer und nach 3 Sekunden garnicht mehr-wer mag das letzte Tröpfchen mit dem Finger abfangen und wieder schließen! Fertig!!! Viel Freude mit diesem hochwertigen Produkt!
