I’ve ordered back in August and just yesterday finished . What I can say that my skin got way more clear now then used to be , and I’ve got a lil bit skinnier , however when used to go to bathroom poop would come greenish colour and most would make me fart so don’t know if that’s how supposed to be , but yet would purchase again along with spirulina 👌🏼

I got these tablets mainly for the children to ensure their consumption of 'greens' and although they taste awful, both my children have managed to swallow them whole with a bit of food or water.

The iodine content of this Chlorella is expressed to be 680.7mg per 100g (see back of packet). I hope that is an error and it is 680.7ug (micrograms) per 100g i.e. 1/1,000th of that level, otherwise 4 tablets of this a day (2grams) would be giving me 13mg of iodine a day. That is an amount of iodine for one's thyroid that one online AI is saying is a level that could affect thyroid function and is not recommended long term without monitoring. Another online AI, knowing that I have been taking these for a couple of years, has said the 4 tablet dose is 10-20 times the recommended maximum dose, depending on which benchmark you use and "There is a real risk of iodine-induced thyroid dysfunction...". It does say its possible to come through this with only transient or even no measurable disturbance after iodine is normalised, but it is recommending I see my GP and have multiple thyroid tests done. Obviously I have discontinued taking the product. From what I have read, I doubt this high level is possible with Chlorella without growing it in an iodine enriched environment, but I would question if it should then be called organic. I would be delighted if the iodine level figure is in fact ug/mcg not mg, i.e. 1/1000th of that stated, so that I can continue to take the product. I will wait to see if the product information is changed, but I do not intend to purchase this brand again until this point is clarified..

These tablets are odour free and easy to swallow. The content of the tablets is supposed to be really good but I haven’t been consistent in taking them. I generally take 1 a day. The pack lasts forever. Definitely I will buy again.
