I recently had some lab work done at the recommendation of my wound care clinic due to a slow healing wound. This lab work indicated some deficiencies including a significantly low Vitamin B12 level. I had a consult with a nutritionist who recommended a supplement. She provided three brands and stated they all did the lab testing necessary to ensure the efficacy of their vitamins. Nature Made was one of the brands she recommended. This is a bottle of 50 1000mcg B12 tablets. These are meant to be used sublingually (under the tongue) and they are fast dissolve tablets. My nutritionist recommended I use them daily for two weeks followed by twice weekly. These are cherry flavored, as well. I'll have to admit that I did that accidentally, though it does add a nice flavor to the vitamin. The cap for the bottle has a nice flip top that is easy to use. The vitamins are small and easy to place under my tongue. They do dissolve quite quickly. I am seeing positive results from use and my nutritionist has been happy. My wound seems to actually be healing better, as well. Overall, I am quite pleased and will definitely keep using this supplement.

Just what I need for that extra energy.

First make sure you actually need the supplement by getting a Specialized Chemistry B12 exam.I did and got 283 which is within the good range of 239-931. A little on the lower side so I am going to take this to raise my level, have not decided whether half (500) or full (1000) or perhaps every other day. I have been using it for a week or so and they have a pleasant taste and DO melt under the tongue which makes it faster to absorb. Downside is it is made of the ceno* type instead of methyl* type which is supposed to be better for absorption. For me sublingual is a key factor because I truly have problems swallowing pills so this saves me from the highly uncomfortable task of swallowing a pill. Mine came without the transparent plastic on the yellow cap (unlike my other bottle which is Vitamin D). I was worried but the inner seal on the lid was good. Whether I feel better or not is not for me to say, it is too soon or I don't notice. I will take an exam after I finish the bottle.

These are actually really good. I’m not a big cherry fan but I like how these taste. They dissolve easily and go down good.
