Kuangmi Ankle Brace Lace Up with Side Stabilizers and Cross Auxiliary Fixing Belt Strength Protection 1 Piece (Large)

This was recommended to me by a colleague as I my ankles subluxate very easily and I was struggling with the pain. These give me just enough support to prevent the subluxations and add some stability to my ankle, but don't prevent me from moving my foot. Easy to put on and off, and fit inside my shoes, which is a bonus. I'd definitely recommend these if you have problems/pain with your ankles.

This is absolutely brilliant. I had a grade 3 ankle injury from skiing Jan 2025, and this brace was a lifesaver. I thoroughly did my research to understand what type I needed for my particular injury. There is so much out there and it was daunting at first. I could feel that I needed support to the sides of my ankle area, where it was damaged the most. This product has metal strips to the side, which was why I chose this one.As soon as I put this on, I knew I had the right one. Wearing it was a dream and the reassurance that I needed. I am 10 days into my recovery and the ankle is repairing perfectly. I applied the RICE theory (Google it), and I could not have recovered as well without this brace. I know my body and this product was worth investing in..... doing it right the first time. My ankle strain was torn in three parts, so being kind to my ankle was the least I could do for all the support it has given me over the years....and I want it to go on for many more years to come.I also purchased an ice bag, which I used 20 mins a day. All I can say is, this one worked for me. As long as I did what was prescribed in RICE, then it'll be worth it. I just have to be patient now..... which I don't do well!If this helps. I'm a size 10 women's clothes/8st 4ibs in weight...... so I purchased the small one, which was perfect. I also wear a support sock to the knee (similar to flight socks) underneath, which I put on first, for additional support to the leg and foot for circulation. No shoes, as I just put on a soft slipper with no back.

I have a weak right ankle and it has a tendency to roll at awkward times even after surgical repair. I bought this to compare with the Acast version I generally use as this is half the price. This brace isn't as rigid at the sides and is fiddly to get on. The velcro straps also need a bit of working out, but they go under the foot and vertically up the side of the ankle. The lace up part does mean you can compress on the ankle which does give the feeling of rigidity. Overall the value for money is excellent and for everyday walking the dogs and other normal activity these seem to be very good and comforting. I would not be convinced by them when I play walking football or any sort of sport involving twists and turns of the feet when, so would revert to the acast brace, but I would definitely buy this again, and the beauty is it works on either ankle (which the Acast doesn't).*Edit Update* I've got used to this now around the house and for dog walking and actually I think it's sturdier than first thought. It would work for some sports and I will be willing to try this out for walking football if and when we're ever allowed to play again. If it stands up to that then I will edit again and maybe award the extra star.

Perfect support for injured tendons and can be worn comfortably with shoes!

The brace was very good at supporting my ankle. It was a little awkward to get on but once on it offered good support. My only issue was I couldn’t get my shoe on over it. You might be ok if your shoes are a bit loose but if you’re shoes are snug you have no chance of getting this on under your shoe as it’s quite bulky.

Arrived quickly. Daughter is happy with how secure her ankle feels in this. (A break and several sprains)Definitely needs putting on at home, or with plenty of time as it's quite a faff but worth the extra time needed.

Product usage has been really effective. Provides relief in pain while walking outside and at home. Highly recommend.
