Good quality watch.
The watch is a reasonable price and is delivered in a presentation box and appears to be of excellent quality as you would expect from a Seiko product, the bracelet is easily adjusted with the correct tool which can be bought from a popular auction site for less than £2, It is guaranteed to keep time to within 15 seconds a month with the added bonus of being solar powered so should not need battery replacement for many years, the watch was working with the correct day and date out of the box so some charge must have been made before dispatch (although the day was in the Spanish setting so had to be changed to English), I found the supplied manual comprehensive enough and set the watch without any problems.Overall very pleased with the purchase that looks good, was delivered quickly and should last for many years.

Excellent for both sporting and smart occasions
I bought this watch to replace a Swatch analogue watch that had proved unsatisfactory. Both watches were reliable time keepers, as are most quartz watches these days. The Seiko has a much tougher glass, whereas the Swatch had rapidly become very badly scratched. Both have luminous hands, but the Swatch also had a luminous day/date which was so bright that it was difficult to see both hands in the dark - and the date couldn't be read at night anyway. The Seiko is much easier to read at night. Thirdly, it is much easier to read minutes and seconds acurately on the Seiko. Fourthly, being solar powered, there is no battery to change, which has often been the time when past watches have ceased to be waterproof. Overall, the Seiko is a much better watch for a sportsman (sailing in my case, which includes climbing the mast, fixing the engine etc) while still looking very respectable when dressed more formally.

Very pleased and bracelet adjustment was a doddle!
I got mine from the Watch Shop and speed of delivery was outstanding. Ordered Thursday evening, delivered Saturday morning. Attractive packaging - would be good for presenting as a gift.I bought this watch as I was becoming frustrated at having to replace both the strap and battery on my old watch more or less every year - costing as much as the watch had originally cost each time!Other reviewers had me a little worried regarding having the bracelet on this watch adjusted and it did put me off a little. I considered that it may not require adjustment in any case, so took the chance. It turned out that it did need adjustment, so I googled 'Seiko bracelet adjustment'. I found instructions on adjusting two styles of Seiko bracelets and mine was one of them. Following a rake around in the garage to find a small enough 'drift' to push the pin out (I used the blunt end of a small drill bit), I had it adjusted in five minutes - it really is that easy. The watch was fully charged although I needed to set the time, day and date. Time-Keeping seems accurate enough. The day is clear but the date is not so clear - the font appears a little 'squashed' sometimes (low and wide). Not a major issue but it could be clearer. The date requires to be reset each non-31-day month. No big deal for me.The watch feels and looks excellent quality if a little heavy. No sharp edges. Excellent clasp. No more new straps or batteries! All in all, I think it's a great watch at a reasonable price and would buy it again.

Seiko Men's Solar Watch SNE032P1
Having submitted my request for this item, the watch was dispatched very quickly indeed. It was well protected by its outer packaging and further well protected in its presentation case.As I had anticipated, the watch strap was too large for my wrist an had to be taken to a jeweller's for adjustment of the strap with a charge being made for the work. On handing the watch back to me, the jeweller commented on how nice a watch it was.I am very pleased with my purchase. It is stylish and of an appropriate size to suit my wrist as I don't like large watches with a lot of gadgetry or ones which look too prominent. This is the second Seiko watch I have owned, the first being an automatic which gave many years of excellent service so I knew what type of quality to expect. The aditional advantage of this model is that I don't have to buy batteries for it.

Brilliant watch
I bought this watch in June 2014 and I can honestly say it is the best watch I have ever owned. It is very easy to adjust the day and date, it keeps perfect time and it looks as good as the day I bought it. It remains to be seen how long the solar battery will last but I have had no problem with it so far. All in all and excellent buy.

Worked for 6 months only
Love the idea of this watch. Elegant, old fashion style (which I like) and above all, Solar.Trouble is it stopped charging after 6 months.Took it to a Seiko dealer and they wanted £140 to repair it - which is enough to buy a new one.Tried a replacement battery, no joy.Waste of money.

Highly reliable and very accurate.
Excelent watch, solar powered: works fine in Northern Ireland. Had to have a couple of links removed and voucher for futher adjustment free. Replacement for my previous Seiko Kinetic which need an full service, costing about the price of this new one on Amazon. This does day /date which took a while to work out. The manual is for a large range of Seiko watches and wrong about this one. Pull out the adjustment knob one click to adjust day date: forwards alters the date (necessary for short months) and backwards the day (not necessary once set up). Two click for the time adjustment (only neccesary when theclock changes for summer time or winter time). Otherwise very reliable for time and auto date changes. Not small at all on a big guy who does not like big chunky watches.
