It is NOT a high security lock, but for its price is it reasonable value.
This is purely a "deterrent" lock. It would probably put off an opportunist thief, but it is definitely not a high security lock, it wouldn't stand up to a sustained effort to break it. The key is very basic, and looks mass produced. It does work well, and is well constructed for its price. I'm using it on a shed in a walled garden and for my circumstances its adequate. It was easy to install,

Nice mid-range rim lock.
This is, like most of their products, a good, reliable, mid-priced item. Robust enough for sustained use, and the work of five minutes to reverse the closer. Unlike the cheaper locks, they have fitted a machine screw to it, so it is simple enough to unscrew and flip over. Do take a photo first though, in case you trigger the spring and can't remember, once you find it, where the ends fit inside the lock! Experience is a great teacher! Five stars for the quality at this price.

Not brilliant
Comes with two keys one works perfectly the other only if you don’t turn fully will attack it with file and see if that fixes it

reversible left- right-handed AND inswinging/outswinging
For me, this lock seems to be a good choice for the rear door of my garage. The door swings outwards so I wasn't fully sure that it would be of use to me... until I saw for myself that the latch bolt *is* reversible. As shown in the first photo, there is a cut-out in the back panel that gives access to a screw that holds the two-piece latch bolt together. I felt that would be too fiddly a job, so I removed the back panel (2 small screws in the second photo) to access the internals. From there, the latch bolt assembly could be lifted out by moving the spring wire out of the way. Then the process to reverse the latch bolt is made much easier. You'll also see in the photos that the keyway is bi-directional, so whether the lock is installed on left- or right-handed opening doors, the key can be used in the conventional manner and not be "upside down".Since my purpose for this lock is out in the garage, I bought the brass version to reduce the prospect of rust. The outer case does indeed appear to be pressed from a thin sheet of brass... but the finish isn't the best quality (final photo). That isn't especially important to me. I am less confident that all the internals are going to remain rust-free.It isn't the heaviest or most robust lock and the key is so simple it is barely adds any genuine security at all. The keep is made of the same pressed material. I doubt it would take a lot to bend any of it. And even if it did not bend under stress, especially for inward opening doors, the three screw used to attach it to the door would not require much of a kick to enable entry. This is not designed/built to be a high-security product. It simply allows me the convenience to close my garage door from the inside, which my old padlock bolt did not. It should, though, serve to "keep honest people honest".

Nice product, shame about the ill-fitting key
Good reliable product, however only one of the two keys opened the lock easily.itThe other one had been shoddily cut, looking noticeably different to the first one,and needed quite a bit of work with a rat-tailed file to get to match the other one and open the lock easily.Poor quality control by the manufacturer. you can't really expect the vendor to check individual items.
