Dimensions D35173, Woodland Enchantress, Gold,Grey, 36 x 30 cm

This is only the third cross stitch I've ever started - and what a challenge! A huge amount of detail on 18 Aida with a combination of cross stitch, half stitch, combined colours, 2 thread and 3 thread stitches! I'm enjoying completing it and have been working on it for 5 months now with about 50% of the stitching done. Maggie reminds me of my late mother's cat who now lives with us, so I thought this was a fitting composition, especially as my mother was an accomplished seamstress. The design is lovely and I'm really looking forward to seeing the completed item. My only negative comment is around the number of needles that I seem to have got through. You have to use a needle threader for those stitches that require three threads which puts a huge amount of pressure on the needle eye as you are effectively pulling six strands through it. The original needle supplied has long gone and I'm now onto my fifth needle - but maybe it's just me :( Update : Almost finished it now - it looks stunning, but the cording on the sewing machine is probably the biggest challenge of the lot! My biggest investment (next to the time spent) will be the trip to the professional framing shop - it truly deserves it!

Beautiful cross stitch. Not for beginners or for people who wants to finish a project quickly. The pattern is not on a single sheet of paper and the aida is plain (not printed on) a lot if the thread on the key is mixed between 2 different colours but the result is amazing. Really enjoyed taking my time doing this one and it looks fantastic when finished. Can't wait to start my next dimensions project

I won't be sewing this for a while but ... Firstly, it arrived well before its due date. Great! Packed well enough and fitted through my letterbox. Great! Happy so far I have sewn a couple of 'Dimensions' kits before so knew what to expect. The Chart is clear, the threads are sorted and label prints are large enough. (so important to not only have the threads in the kit sorted but neatly placed on well printed cards for the sewers convenience. Such an important time saver. It is also important to point out that this is sewn on a 16 count Aida. The largest and most complicated project yet, so I'm looking forward to starting it. Definitely Highly Recommend Dimensions Kits. - but if getting them from Amazon, Check if there's more than 1 supplier, I did thank goodness and saved myself almost £30.

Dimension gold kits are always very. Very detailed so do take a while to stitch.

The design is lovely, and the silks feel and look good. It’s not however a counted or printed cross stitch on a regular count Aida, it’s an embroidery cross stitch on an evenweave fabric. I’ve given it a 3* as I didn’t feel the description made that clear. If that is what you want it’s certainly 5*.

This is a beautiful cross stitch kit which will be a Christmas Present! I have another two projects to complete before I start this which I can't wait....... Excellent Quality, the price was very good for such a beautiful kit !!!!!

Beautiful cross stitch not for the beginner , lots colours , need lots consecration and quiet time. Had small problem as instruction sheet was missing but Amazon were fab quick at sending new kit out to me and I have returned first kit today Monday 9th January 2017. Big Thankyou to Amazon . :-)

Finally got it after 12 days...Totally worth the price, beautiful packaging with all the essential information & pattern guide along with two needles is included! Can't wait to start.

Très jolie broderie, agréable à confectionner. 6 mois pour la faire ( 4h par jour). Seul bémol pas assez de beige pour le reflet en fond de tableau et pour faire le contour des fleurs. Malgré cela très jolie rendu avec de très belles couleurs. Débutants s'abstenir.
