Purdy awesome
This product is the kind of tool that you pick up and can immediately feel the quality. It feels well balanced in the hand and incredibly sturdy especially considering that it is only a wall scraper it feels as though it is sturdy enough to be a hammer. The wallpaper scraper is incredibly good having the perfect angle on it for most use as well as being once again very robust. The paint tin opener also is really efficient and much better than scrabbling away at it with a screwdriver. The putty cutter works really well as well as being able to quickly switch between the knife and the scraper in that scenario being really handy.I can only assume the end of the handle is the "hammer" part of the scraper which can't be described as a real hammer but would be handy for things like tack nails.I am yet to use the roller cleaner but I can only assume it is as high quality as the rest of the toolsA great piece of kit if you have a lot of decorating to do. It certainly feels like it will be lasting for years to come.

5 stars for cost, good quality and useful tool.
Generally good for most purposes, especially opening or closing paint tin lids, and scraping. It's quite rigid, so maybe not so good for all different types of filling jobs, but certainly worth having in the tool box. It's a Swiss knife of scrapers.

Great Scraper
Really great tool, you wonder how you managed without one. Solid build quality and removes bits of grit and paint runs in old paintwork and scrapes off bad filling jobs on walls no messing, good for removing silicone and caulking around windows etc . Feels comfortable in the hand and would definitely recommend. Took to my daughters for doing up her newly purchased flat - she used it for all the scraping jobs so i've left it with her so buying another one so we've got one each and the work can be done twice as quick.

Simple and Effective
A great item for anyone in the trade. It is so handy for many types of jobs, its rubber handle is good when wet and paint scraper is good at getting excess paint out of rollers. I'm a handyman by trade and quality tools like this make me happy. Good price and goes well with all other quality tools I love every day in my job.

Robust tool but not rust-proof!
Great tool. Feels very solid and well made. Great scraper that's sharp and hard enough for getting dried-on paint off things but not raggedy or rough so won't scratch glass or porcelain.Overall, painting my bathroom would have been a nightmare without this.My only criticism is that it has tarnished and oxidised very quickly. Over the course of a three-day renovation project, the surface has gone from new to covered in orange rust! Admittedly, it did get a little wet and I could have taken better care of it, but I expected it to have some rust-resistance. I've scrubbed off as much rust as I could and wiped it down with some machine oil, but I didn't expect to have to baby it this much!

It is very useful...
Nice in the hand used as a paint stripper and sealant remover etc. I just leave it in my toolbox so that I always have it with me. Gave my last one to my son as he didn’t have one. Ordered another right away for myself...

Well built and very useful.
I think Purdy tools are my new favourite thing. This week I have bought Purdy rollers, a brush and this multi use tool. I've never used such a tool before, but have not stopped using it since I've had it. Opening cans of paint, cleaning excess paint off rollers, scraping paint off where it shouldn't be. Well built and very useful.

Sorry, but I expected more.
Sorry to be the squeaky wheel here, but this is no better than the multitude of other multi-function scrapers on the market, and considerably more expensive. It works out even more expensive as you need to buy an additional scraper, some adhesive solvent and half-an-hour's elbow grease to remove the ridiculous, paper labels on the blade. (Why not plastic, easy-peel labels?)There is no nail ripping slot (I thought it might be under the label); the scraper is not sharp (it has a primary bevel ground on it, but has not been fully sharpened); and the "hammer end" is made of die-cast monkey metal, so is only of use for knocking in drawing pins or closing paint tins. The only good feature is the high carbon steel blade, which is hard and retains its edge well. It comes polished and lacquered, but you'll need to keep it clean and dry in storage as the lacquer wears off and the blade will rust. (This is why it's a good idea to remove the labels as they retain moisture.)Buy a cheaper one. It'll be equally - or more - functional.
