We have a 10 week old puppy who goes from 1-100 on the excitement scale and gets tired but doesn't know how to calm back down to go to sleep, so i purchased this after coming across it whilst desperate for something to calm life in our house. After reading some of the reviews i decided it was worth a try.Oh my goodness me. First of all i opened the tin and let our puppy smell it and then rubbed some on my fingertips to warm it up and make it sort of liquid and rubbed it on her paws and front legs. She smelt it and licked and no kidding within 20 minutes she had become all cosied in and wanted to go to bed.I can honestly say that this is the best tenner i have spent. Just ordered another one as a spare so i don't run out.

Started rubbing some of this onto my dogs paws before bed a few nights before bonfire night so by the time the day came they were mostly used to me applying this, it smells lush real fresh Lavender scent, my puppy was licking away at her paws with no tummy issues! And most of all it really helped her be calm for the horrid firework noises, I have it ready to use again for a few days before new years eve they usually set more fireworks off then. My older dog isn't the best in the car & I use this now and it has really helped her not get frantic. Great balm I will always have some in now.

Nice smell does the job

This is a helpful addition to other treatments I am having to implement to help a VERY anxious terrier dog. Doesn't work on it's own but this is an extremely anxious rescue dog so perhaps helpful for milder anxiety in a dog.

I bought this product to help calm my anxious staffie during car journeys and it’s actually made a difference. I love the fact that it’s completely natural and it has the most wonderful smell. A little goes a long way and, although it might not work for every dog, it really does help my dog relax - she’s even fallen asleep a few times too. (It also has a lovely moisturising and skin softening effect on your hands.)

Smells lovely. Does nothing to calm the dog.

I bought this for my rescue dog who after 3 years of being a chilled gent started getting anxiety, restlessness, panting and panic in the night. A vet check up found nothing to put this down to, and we were at our wits end with no sleep!I put this on his head and front paws, and we all got the best night's sleep in over a month!After a couple of days he seems to be the calm gentle soul we are used to. Definitely worth a try, and for us the results have been immediate and amazing!

I really wanted this to work, my little chihuahua is terrified of other dogs and pulls and barks on walks, she is so scared she tries to climb up me to escape them. I saw this balm and read the review and thought I will give it a try, sadly so far results are that it doesn’t work on my little fur baby, I will keep trying along with other things. You rub the balm into the ears or paws etc, it smells nice but my dog doesn’t seem keen on the lavender scent. I think this could work for some dogs but not all. I would suggest people try it as it might work on their pets.
