Best brush I’ve every had.
I used this for the first time last night to brush excess olive oil on my mini potatoes from the pan. I usually coat them all in a bowl and then dribble what’s left in the bowl over them but I just threw it all in the pan last night. They’d been sitting a while so had gone a bit dry, it was the easiest baster I’ve ever used. Nice and wide compared to my old round bristle brush and the silicone bristles were pliable so moved round the potatoes. I didn’t have to worry about losing bristles which is great. It was also easy to clean. I don’t think my old wooden one ever gets washed properly as it’s thick bristle so I’m glad that this one felt clean. I love how the end is angled so it doesn’t touch the work surface when it’s lying there however when I picked it up after it had been sitting there whilst the food was cooking and we had our tea, I noticed the oil still contained in the brush, was all over the work surface. That probably wouldn’t happen if I’d used butter, but it tells me you can’t leave it for long. An old bristle brush would hold it, probably because it doesn't hold that much like this one does. Next time I’ll give it a swill after I’ve used it I’m not sure if the angled head is to stop your work surface getting greasy or just to stop the brush picking up contamination. But I’m very impressed overall. I’ll try it with butter next week when I make a bread and butter pudding. I’ve now thrown our 3 old unworkable brushes. 🤣

Perfect cooking and basting brush!
The media could not be loaded. Brilliant. Easy to use. Functional with plastic brush head that doesn't flake or disintegrate, so it doesn't leave bits in your batter like other brushes. Sturdy handle that is ergonomic and comfortable to use. Easy to clean. So good I brought 2, one for me and another for my sister. Happy baking and cooking days ahead.

Best brush yet
I've not given it 5 stars yet, as it's one of those 'time will tell'products. It arrived on time, in good nick, and fairly reasonably priced considering it's rather more than just a brush. Instead of bristles it has thickish rods of rubbery silicone plastic and some perforated sheets of the same stuff buried in the 'bristles'( see other reviewers kindly provided pics). It'll pick up just the same amount of oil, milk, flour, or anything else your old brush did,and put it where you want it.It's supposed to cope with hot oil without damage.I havn't really tested this yet, but it's definately dishwasher safe, so as long as your oils not bubbling and smoking like it's ready to blow, you should be o.k. The angled shape does as advertised, keeping the contents of the bristles off your work surface unless the brush is really loaded. In short,it's just the tool for the job, making all the old wood, bristle, and nylon jobs look rubbish.Get one!Incidentally, just after the product arrived, one of our chairs needed some fixing, and the redundant wood and bristle brush which we'd only used once before it started to go deciduous, got used as a glue brush. It's now exiled to the shed where it belongs. Edit:- 5 months later, 2 of the inner yellow bristles (one each side)have fallen off, dunno why but they're easy to spot before they get in your cooking, and there's still plenty left. If it lasts the year I'll be quite happy. Seemingly simple, commonplace little gadgets like this add just as much to your cooking convenience and pleasure as a drawer full of fancy knives or a food processer so long as they're done right.

Good brush
I love the Oxo brand and this is another good product. It’s silicone and easy to clean up. It has some odd looking features to help pick up an egg wash and quickly paint it where needed. Unlike bristle brushes, it doesn’t shed and doesn’t look manky after a few uses, it looks brand new still.

A great must-have brush in your kitchen
Was slightly worried when I received this item as the brush bristles are plastic and seemed too sparse but realised that it is purposefully designed like that because it allows it to air out properly instead of trapping organic matter in between so that it doesn't deteriorate or smell.I've only used it to marinate meat on BBQs so far which has done the job just fine and didn't stain the brush. Not too sure how it will fare when it comes to other cooking such as baking but its still worth having in your drawer for the fact that its so easy to clean and is very hygienic! The fact that the bristles are plastic also means no shedding too and the angled brush head is a nice touch to the design.
