For Veterans a trip down memory lane. The mess tins appear to be very well made and totally true to the ones issued to the British Military. Likewise the little (hexamine as it used to be called) stove. Not used yet so not sure how the fuel blocks will perform as they don't look like the original hex blocks. Nice little cutlery set and compared to camping shops a bargain for all three at that price.

Amazing! Bought for a festival as gas stoves aren't allowed and it worked really well. Cooked food and boiled water with ease. It's very compact and all fits nicely together, even with the included cutlery. The fuel burns for enough time for you to heat up some food and bring a small amount of water to boil. The fuel does however have a weird unpleasant smell. The containers are also quite robust, but the stove itself should be handled with care as it is quite thin and has some sharp edges

KFS brilliant for the rucksack

I like the functionality of this set - each piece of cutlery does exactly what I need it to do. I've had an interlocking cutlery set before for camping which worked brilliantly and hoped for the same with this. For the price I paid it's great! Unfortunately they don't 'lock' together very well but I wrap an elastic band around the handles and that does the trick

Excellent tools for picnic

Good sized KFS set. Sturdy enough that they won’t break or bend. They are easy to use and easy to clean. The fact they slot together means you won’t easily loose one. These are perfect to keep in your bag or the car. They are always a better option than plastic cutlery that you get with food to go.
