Best stuff to use in biological stains or spills…

Ok, so I have a 15 yr old dog that started having incontinence issues about a yr ago, related to kidney disease. It's progressed and she is in a diaper full time. However, sometimes she leaks out, or is able to get the diaper off and has had a couple pee accidents on the carpet in the bedrooms. One time she expressed her freaking anal gland and stunk up the whole freaking house. I thought for SURE we were going to have to replace the carpets. I tried 2 other "enzyme" type cleaners that had worked previously for me, but the stink was so bad, I thought I'd vomit. My daughter had to vacate her room for almost 2 weeks during this process. Well, I came across this stuff on Amazon, and thought I'd give it a try. Hell, I was planning on replacing the carpets anyway, so if it didn't work, I'd be out a few extra bucks. If it did work, I'd save hundreds. I did the "soak it with cleaner, leave a wet towel on it over night" trick in my daughter's room. Left it on for 24 hrs. Let it dry completely, windows open, fan running for several days. I then used my cheap-o carpet cleaner on the area (hot water only, no soap) and let it dry/air out another couple days. The smell was gone. Well, the anal gland skunk smell was gone, and in place was a citrus-y smell. The citrus-y smell has since subsided and she is back in her room. We did the same soak in cleaner/wet towel trick in our bedroom, but we didn't use the carpet cleaner (with so many people sleeping in our room, we didn't have time to wait a couple days for it to dry). Anyway, I did have to treat 2 small areas for a 2nd time, but I only sprayed the cleaner on and let it air dry on it's own. It NO LONGER SMELLS in either room! I seriously can't believe it got the anal skunk smell out. Buy 2 bottles.

I first bought the 32-ounce spray bottle and was impressed with how well it removed my dachshund puppy’s urine odor. Since the larger bottle is more cost-effective, I now buy it and use it to refill my original spray bottle. This product really works — it completely removes the smell if you spray the exact spot where your dog urinated and allow it to fully saturate. Just spraying the general area won’t eliminate the odor, so finding the source is key. The only downside is the scent of the product itself, it’s very strong. Don’t get me wrong, it definitely smells better than the smell of dog urine! I usually close the room door after spraying and let it air out for a while. If you still notice the odor of urine afterward, it may mean the urine soaked through to the carpet pad, in which case surface treatment (just spraying with this cleaner) alone won’t fix it. Overall, this cleaner is very effective and worth buying, especially if you have pets who occasionally have accidents. The large bottle is a great value if you are consistently using it!

I can not say enough about this product. The most effective product I have found for removing the smell of cat urine. It has not stained anything. For the best results, follow instructions on the bottle. I have found if the urine has already dried, it is best to let it soak longer. Urine crystalizes and reactivates when wet. I have a senior kitty (13 years old) who is very long and tall. I purchased LUUP litter boxes (the ones that sift) but they are not very tall. Every now and then he shoots beyond the edge of the litter box and it runs off the litter mat and onto the tile. He also gets stressed out when major changes happen, so we have the occasional "accident". I have used this for carpet, tile, bath room rugs and two different couches with different fabrics.
