Best paint stripper I've used
I used this to remove paint from some plastic and resin miniatures. It is hands down the best I've ever used. Others I've used have been good but I find them being liquid made it a bit more difficult with clean up and also wastage. This however requires very little and works so well. In fact, I accidentally dropped some on my cutting mat and it lifted the design straight away! This isn't a complaint, as my mat is very dirty and messy after so many years of use, but it showcased the fast acting nature of this stripper. I didn't leave it on very long as I had resin in my models and I read online that it may make resin slightly soft. Even so, it was strong enough to remove the paint within a handful of minutes. I did this twice and it stripped the model straight down to bare plastic, no damage to the resin. And with these quick dips into the pot, with the paste sticking to the model, i barely used any. My only slight criticism is that the price was high compared to other companies, however the Prime delivery for me balanced out the extra costs of delivery and speed elsewhere. But despite that, the 500ml pot is more than big enough for my needs as I don't strip all that often in reality. Highly recommended! Edited to add: clean up was easy too. Seems to dissolve/dissipate with hot water. I used cooler water because of the resin and it took a little longer to clean off, but with running water and an old tooth brush to agitate it came off pretty easily.

Superb product
Superb product. I highly recommend this product for the tasks I used it for and it is reasonable to assume it will be just as effective in normal paint stripping tasks. It resembles gloopy white milk or yoghurt and has almost no smell. There were no chemical fumes or nasty skin burns either although I did wear nitrile gloves to be safe. Its water based and as far as I am aware, environmentally friendly but I advise checking this. I used it to strip several layers of acrylic paint from plastic wargames vehicles and it did so without any harm to the plastic. I found brushing it on using an old 2" brush was more economical than dunking the items and they cleaned up perfectly after a second application. Somewhat to my amusement, this had the handy side effect of stripping dried paint from the old brush itself and after washing the bristles were smooth again! I used it a second time to remove a mix of acrylic and enamel paint from old lead based and pewter miniatures by dunking them in and got the same great result. It didn't even harm their plastic stands although it does seem to dissolve dried superglue to I recommend keeping a close eye on any glued-on parts if that’s what it’s being used for. It also softens some modelling putty so I advise great care if using it to clean up a heavily filled model. Photos of the paint strip of the wargames vehicles attached to this review.

Odour free, easy to apply, may need second or third coating.
Not effortless at removing paint and stain in my experience, patchy results and creates a gluey mess at times, though I've not used it on a lot of different paint surfaces, mainly for removing surface stain. I like the fact it's water based, has no odour and can be washed off fairly easily. Results are good if you stick at it and, though it's a small tub, coverage is extensive - still seems pricey for the amount but I was happy to get a second tub due to it being water based.

Best paint stripper Juice for miniatures by far!
I have just used this to strip down paint from plastic Warhammer miniatures, I’ve used a few different products and finally found one that’s quick and effective!

NBC Haz-Mat Suit Needed.
Three stars for this stuff as it might work !? First of all item delivered on time & in perfect condition thank you, bit expensive but as many have pointed out needed to strip paint from 40K over painted figures so sit down with a cuppa as I’m gonna tell you a story……. Before starting to use this stuff ensure your partner is watching you with their phone on video mode, it will make it onto YouTube’s epic fails…… you ideally need a full NBC Decontamination set up to use this stuff or at least an Otto Fuel Spillage Kit, if you don’t know what either of these are you didn’t Serve. This stuff is gloopy & I mean GLOOPY, don’t use it in your kitchen or in your house or anywhere near anything you actually like that costs money as it will splash onto it, I opened the container & can only describe the contents as worse smelling condensed milk, you know that condensed milk, Sweet tasting super glue ? Similar looking stuff but definitely NOT edible for obvious reasons & it sticks to everything & I mean everything ! So I prepared, yeah right, with rubber gloves, 2 plastic containers & 2 old toothbrushes & placed my 40K figures into tub of gloop, immediately black streaks came off the figures into the gloop, great start I thought & put container outside onto garden table to work its magic whilst I did whatever for about 90 minutes, with me so far ? I checked gloop & thought time to scrub figures clean, took it all back into kitchen, kitted up in plastic gloves with toothbrushes & clean water containers at the ready, kitchen tap running & here we go…. Took first figure out of tub, it was at this point I started to realise things were not going to go my way, the figure emerged easily from gloop but gloop basically stuck to it like well glue ! Tons of it so I thought this would come off easily under the running tap, nope in fact what did come off stuck like glue to kitchen sink & basically the whole kitchen & myself ! I don’t know if you’ve ever tried cleaning a weird shaped something under a running tap even a tap that’s running slowly ? The water hits every angle & sprays everywhere taking gloop & paint with it & at this point the gloopy paint streaked mess on my gloves was like axel grease ! Gloop & dissolved paint went everywhere which was weird as the tap was hardly running so I grabbed a toothbrush but gloop shot of my gloves onto washing machine yet I bravely fought onwards….. the instant the toothbrush touched the model it was coated with gloop & black paint (Black Templars) & it didn’t matter how much I scrubbed nothing changed ? By now I’ve loudly requested assistance from my wife three times, third time was met with a curt refusal ! I’m now covered in black gloop not white, 2 gross gloves & toothbrushes & 2 filthy containers so I bundle up everything, take it outside & bin it all in a bin bag for the tip, I lost the battle & having scrubbed most of the gloop & paint off my face & clothes I go to work cleaning the kitchen to my wife’s exacting standards, basically Skipper’s Rounds ! Things were actually worse than I’ve explained but I have more kitchen cleaning to do & the gloopy paint went weirdly fuzzy on my 40K figures so I gotta buy more of them now ! Just to point out I was a WE Mech - Mechanician in the RN back in the day then a Police Officer so I’m not supposed to be an idiot, that said the gloop beat me & beat me good, I hope you have better luck as with the correct cleaning station & an upper deck hose this stuff might actually work !? Definitely not the sellers fault but again bit pricey for what happened ! Have fun…….

Easy to use, Quick in operation, No Esidues left when panel cleaned ready for painting.
Excellent Product, Have used other paint strippers, but ones that were solvent based, not an environmentaly friendly water based one, But started to soften n bubble paint in no time, about 3 mins, within 45mins had car wing which paint had reacted, stripped by blasting it with hand held pressure wash gun. Within 4hrs wing was sanded right back to bare metal, etch primed, Undercoat primer,, and by evening, wet n dry sanded, and final coat of grey cellulose primer wet n dry'd to harden off overnight ready for Basecoat Green colour. Excellent Product,,Would Recomend!! Further to the above, this is the same wing that reacted and was stripped that day, this is a day later. Sanded after stripping Paint, cleaned, base coated Green pearl metalic, and then top coated within the day with Noval Laquer, Job done, wing back on, Brill finish!! No Residues affecting post crazing. Brill stripping agent, def recomended for top jobs.

Sort of works, but very messy.
I appreciate that others have rated this highly, but I found it absolutely awful on a varnished pine table. It stripped most of the varnish, but needed three applications, but by far the worst aspect was trying to get rid of the residue. It most definitely is NOT water soluble as suggested in the instructions . Hot water and detergent helped, but in the end I resorted to white spirit. . . Sort of defeats the eco friendly bit!! I would not use it again.

Use in a ventilated room and wear gloves
I have been trying different means of stripping paint from miniatures for years, from dettol, degreasers and soapy detergentscthrough to sonic cleaners. All require hours or days of scrubbing. I managed to 60% strip paint from 5 models, in minutes, with RESIDUE of this stuff that was on my rubber gloves. This stuff will annihilate acrylic paint. This is the Arnold Schwarzenegger Movie of paint strippers. I was amazed at the results! I will say it's NOT odourless, and it did start making my eyes a bit itchy until I opened the window. The smell lingers a while too, but then this stuff doesn't seem to dry out. 😄 It's savagely efficient but treat it accordingly- use rubber gloves, and do it somewhere like a utility room or garage if you can. As long as you're respectful of it, it will destroy paint on plastic like you wouldn't believe. Definitely getting more when this runs out!
