TIPS AND WARNINGS IF YOU HAVE PIERCINGS OR OTHERWISE
So, I love this thing for many different reasons. This machine is blue which means that it is a neon and argon fusion. This means that it provides dual benefits as neon (orange) is good for fine lines and wrinkles and argon (purple) is good for acne. One tip that I use is gauze which can be applied as a mask to the face, or a gauze square wrapped around the tip with a rubber band. The idea is that it glides over the skin and promotes oxygen flow in the layer between the machine and the skin. Another thing to be careful of is if you have thyroid issues or pacemaker or even facial piercings like I do. I cover my piercings with my finger and go around but sometimes I can feel it near my earrings depending on how high I have it up.

Spa blemish and wrinkle treatment at home.
I had never heard of high frequency facial machines before I got this one. I got one of each color so I can compare the differences in the tube colors so I'll be reviewing each color and the differences in them. Each color has a different purpose in its use in skin care. In researching these techniques, the orange tubes have neon and are generally indicated for the treatment of aging skin because they are said to direct more warmth to the treatment area which promotes blood circulation encourages cellular turnover and improves the penetration of your facial products. The violet tubes contain argon and are used by professionals to treat acne or blemished skin. A small amount of ultra violet light is emitted when the violet electrode touches the skin. This tiny amount of UV exposure is non skin damaging and very safe and provides excellent anti-bacterial and healing benefits. The blue tubes combine the benefits of both the orange tubes and the violet tubes with neon and argon gasses. This review is for the blue kit with 4 glass tubes. The enclosed instructions are easy to understand. Insert the desired tube and turn it on. You'll see it begin to glow in blue. Apply your skin care products to the skin you wish to treat and apply the wand. Always start on the lowest setting until you're used to treatments. It's normal to feel a slight tingling while using it. Increase the level as you become used to the feeling. Higher levels mean better results. Use it 2-4 times a week for 10-20 minutes each time. I am using this blue machine to treat some breakouts on my face and to help my aging skin. I'm going to be using the comb on my hair to improve the condition of my hair.I've only used it twice on my blemish area and it seems to have dried them up. I've also been treating facial wrinkles. It's really too early to say for sure but the wrinkles to seem less noticeable and not as pronounced. I'll continue using this machine and report on my results. It does feel good while you're using it.

Versatile
Absolutely love it so far! Tool is easy to use and incorporate with routine couple of times a week. I use it to zap acnes for quick results. Can be used over any serums/EGF serums. Can also use gauze pad to increase penetration. I have also been using it to reduce scar marks and induce hair growth but results may come after consistent use.I had reached out to the seller for couple of questions related to the prongs and usage and they were quick to respond. I Highly recommend this Uaike High Frequency Acne Device

Stopped Working After 3 Months
This wand was pretty good at first. The attachments are all useful, though the mushroom head (my favorite) is a little smaller than I would have liked. Even on the highest setting, it was fairly weak and no where near as strong as what you experience in the salon, but it was serviceable... until it stopped working less than 3 months in. It's as if the tubes don't connect properly to generate the frequency they should, especially the mushroom head. Complete waste of money. Spend a little more for a set that will last longer.

Just like the one we had in the 1970's
This is a very nice corona discharge machine. It's truly effective as one can smell the triatomic oxygen (ozone) it generates. The radio frequency (RF) electricity that this device discharges is very useful for localized heating of tissues and subsequent increase of circulation in the lower dermal layers. Effective for contracting pores as well. I like the 'comb' attachment (see photo) and have been using it on my scalp daily. In conjunction with some essential oils/herbal extracts, I'm trying for a healthier scalp - maybe grow back a bit of hair. Of course biotin & collagen are part of the deal too but I really enjoy the sensation of stimulation this device provides my skin & scalp.I had a machine like this in the 70's and it was kinda scary compared to this one, the whole tube lit up - you could see it in bright light - and the arcs of electricity/RF were moderately painful. Not so with this machine! I feel very safe using it.Time will tell if this device is beneficial for increasing hair growth - meanwhile I'll be using it on my face and neck too.Very neat machine, two thumbs up!

Blows fuses like no other!!
So initially I purchased a Nuderma with orange wands which is a top notch company, highly recommend you spend the few extra dollars on a quality machine and this isn't it! I wanted to see if the blue wands did more for my acne prone skin, as id read different gases are used to treat different skin conditions. Instead of buying the more expensive machine, or the blue ones from Nuderma, i opted to save a few dollars and went with this one. Which was a mistake...First off, the plug is only 2 pronged on this machine (the other is 3 prongs) and it blows a fuse 75% of the times I've tried to use it, turned all the way up there's barely any power to it (I have Nuderma to compare it to), and when I attempted to touch the light switch to turn on over mirror lights, I got a pretty strong jolt while the was plugged into the adjacent outlet.I highly recommend shelling out the extra money for the Nuderma, this doesn't really work all that well, and definitely not well enough to risk my safety. Do not recommend.
