It really works!
I’ve been using super-slippery ZX1 Extralube for over 20 years without issue. Quietens noisy engines and reduces fuel consumption by 2-4mpg. Better cold starting, and improved engine response. Used in every car I’ve owned. Apply every 25,000 miles for maximum protection. It’s not an oil additive, it’s a metal treatment, as it chemically bonds the the metal. My day job involves Tribology, so I appreciate how this works. It is not snake oil.I’ve also used their other products, and their pin-oiler is a must for any workshop.

Fantastic product
Wow, read loads or reviews on this stuff after my local mechanic recommended I added some when I next serviced my 2015 Ford Transit Custom, serviced it yesterday then added 225ml of this ZX1, engine noticeably quieter almost immediately and my average MPG went from 36 to 39, I honestly can’t rate this little bottle highly enough.

I have used this on vehicles before. I have just bought a 7 year old car with 25k oon the clock. Driven mostly around town. The engine was ok, but a bit wobbly and rough. I treated the engine and also added Archoil to the tank. Within 50 miles it became so smooth it was unbelievable. It feels more responsive and I am sure power has been restored, torque also feels better. 200 miles in it seems to be still improving. It is so quiet and smooth. You hardly notice it running even at speed. So I definitely endorse this product. I have used it in a Honda CRV from new, it now has 200k on it and I won't sell it.

Excellent product - it works very well.
I apparently made a mistake in not observing absolute cleanliness when changing the oil filter on my Astra 1.7 cdti Diesel (I didn't clean all of the chalk dust / talc off of the o ring kit that comes with the filter (why do they put what appears to be abrasive matter in an oil filter kit anway?) - I was in a terrible mood at the time and hence I rushed the job). Also the design of the oil filter housing position couldn't be worse since it faces upwards to catch any dirt that may fall off the bonnet while you have it disassembled unlike on old Austin / Morris cars that had the housing facing downwards. Anyway quite soon after the oil / filter change I noticed that the engine sounded worse and it seemed that the oil pressure was low since I had to run the engine at a fast idle for 4 - 5 minutes before driving off otherwise you could really hear a rattling noise. So I felt forced to put an additive in to quieten down the engine. I first thought of Molyslip which I'd had good experience with in the past in the old classic Mini with its combined engine / gearbox set up - you could really feel that changing gear became less obstructive - but was put off due to turbo engines not being mentioned on the can so I tried ZX1.I can honestly say that it has quietened down the engine noise and I feel has saved my engine (and improved the fuel consumption too).I put a little ZX1 in the engine every oil change btw that they don't recommend in the instructions but if you write to them they're very helpful and they said that some people in their organisation put 25 ml in every oil change, some people 50 ml & some 100 ml; he recommended I try 50 ml every oil change.I have noticed with my worn engine that if you drive too fast it is possible to wear away the ZX1 protective coating and the engine becomes noisey again; I find that keeping the revs to no more than 2750 RPM keeps the ZX1 film intact which is nearly an indicated 80 MPH for my car so not too bad really.

Seems to do what it claims but be cautious with wet clutches on motorbikes
I used ZX1 on my 93 Honda CB1000 Super Four after seeing Allen Millyard (garden shed engineering genius) recommend it. The engine was already pretty smooth but it was noticeable how it quietened down further and reduced high frequency vibrations. The only problem was it caused huge clutch slip the next time I rode the bike (oil filler is directly over the clutch) and it took about 150 miles of riding over 3 trips before it went away. Clutch is fine again but it is something to be aware of. Next time I'll introduce the ZX1 in several small doses over a period of days rather than in just one. Cant comment on fuel consumption because I don't track it but it certainly made a smooth engine even smoother.

I swear by this stuff..
I have used this in all my vehicles and boats for decades. It has saved from seizure, one car and one boat engine when oil escaped through broken pipes and sensors. I add it to the gearbox and diffs too.
